3RD POV

Leigong: - Tch, what's taking them so long?! Where's the king?! We've been waiting here for hours!!

The yellow-haired captain scowled in frustration.

Caius: - Relax, Lei. We'll know soon enough.

The captain of the Singing Birds spoke from beside him, with a laid-back tone.

Leigong: - You've been saying that for hours, and we're still here!!

Sirius: - NOW, NOW, THERE'S NO REASON FOR AGGRESSIONS!! WE MUST PATIENTLY ENDURE THIS WAIT AS MAGIC WARRIORS SHOULD!!

Aalto: - Flameborn, this shouting of yours is unbecoming of a magic warrior Captain!! Please lower your voice!!

Aalto spoke, shaking his arms up and down.

Sirius: - OH MY!! I SINCERELY APOLOGIZE!!

The flame mage exclaimed in the same tone. Aalto scowled even more, while Caius and Aurelius were laughing at the scene. Aella cleared her throat.

Aella: - Leigong, although I understand your growing frustration, you must remember that this is a code "undercut ". Which means-....

Leigong: - That there's an immediate emergency that could jeopardize the security of our Kingdom. Yes, I know.

He replied with a scoff.

Selin: - Or the life of the king.

The dark-haired woman added, plunging the meeting room into a tense, icy silence.

Selin: - For now, the only immediate threat comes from the Wind Kingdom. The treaty between nations states that any treasure found belongs to the land where it was discovered, which should prevent disputes. But treaties don't stop ambition and nothing prevents these windy bastards from declaring war if they choose to. After all, it was clear that they were heavily involved in all of this.

Aalto nodded.

Aalto: - Indeed. I assume we were called here to discuss war plans. If that's the case, then the people should be our top priority!!

Aurelius: - The people are always our top priority.

Aurelius let out a bored, dramatic whine.

Aurelius: - Ugh, I don't wanna go to war. I haven't even gotten married to my little moon yet!!

Selin facepalmed.

Leigong: - Can't you act like a fucking adult for once?!

Aurelius's eyes glistened with theatrical tears.

Aurelius: - But I haven't even gotten engaged yet!! If I don't marry Selin before war, I'll literally die!!

Selin's eyes widened and then gleamed dangerously.

Selin: - Sound the war horns.

Silas let out a small chuckle from across the table, his face covered behind his fan while he was staring at himself in the mirror. Despite wearing his usual pitch-black sunglasses, the mischievous glint in his eyes was painfully obvious.

Silas: - Wipe those tears from your flawless face, dear Aurelius. Though I don't blame you. My eyes would be crying too after staring at an unsightly woman such as her.
