Mixed Feelings

Ria's P.O.V

I wake up and blink as I look around. "Alois? Alois, where are you?" I call and crawl out of bed. I rub my eyes tiredly and let out a small yawn. "Alois...." I mumble and frown, looking around. I'm in his room, he should be here right? Humans do sleep here I think.

I sigh softly and leave the room in my nightgown, first mistake. I walk down the halls, easily getting lost; second mistake. I frown as I see a room with a male inside. "Alois...?" I mumble when I see him. Alois' gaze snaps up to me, locking our eyes in less than a moment.

I smile and walk into the room, "Alois. I-." He hits me harshly and I fall to the ground, holding my cheek. "Tch, disgusting! Don't you know how to dress yourself!? You're so pitiful Ria. Go find Claude!" He shouts at me. The male behind him stands up as if to hurt Alois.

I get up quickly and grab Alois, hugging him close. "Alois, be careful. You can't turn your back on someone..." I mumble, knowing it was a lesson that was learned but I don't really remember where...

I look down at Alois, who's face is buried in my chest as he kneels slightly to reach my height. "I'm so sorry Ria! I should never have hurt you! You care so much for me! Please don't ever leave me!" I smile and grab Alois' face in my hands, rubbing his teary cheeks with my thumbs. "I'd never leave Alois."

He sniffles, "you promise Ria?" I nod, "I promise." I lick his tears to reassure him and he pushes me away, "gross! Don't lick me! You dog! You stupid, stupid dog!" I wince as he raises his hand but the male we had both forgot, grabbed Alois' hand. "Sir, may I ask for you to show me that tea?"

I look down, 'why do I keep failing with these creature customs....?' I sigh softly and look up, noticing the male's hand in my face. I take it and smile, "thank you...." He says nothing but leads me as he follows Alois.

I bite my lip as we walk, what is the feeling I'm getting from this cellar...? I glance at the male, who is staring at me intently.

Alois notices and grabs my hand, yanking me to him and wrapping his arm around my waist. "Ria, you know wearing that gown makes me-." He stops as the tall man cuts him off, Alois' hand at the edge of my gown. "Sir, we've arrived." He announced as if to stop Alois from continuing.

'Why would he do that? Alois is only telling me what he thinks.' I frown slightly as Alois releases me and skips to the door, opening it and leading us all in. "This way~!" He orders with a grin and skips ahead of us. He takes the tea off the shelf. "Here it is New Moon Drop." Alois smirks a bit and I find myself questioning if he had something to drink before hand.

"Nope~!" He exclaims and pulls the box away from the man. "You promised to show me what was in the box." I sigh, at least he knows to get what he wants before being tricked. My eyes widen in surprise as I'm grabbed, along with the tea box. "Ria!" Alois shouts in shock and anger.

I was a bit shocked myself. "Ria come back here!" I hear him scream; before I could make a move to obey though, a knife embeds itself in the man's cloak. Ripping off the coat and revealing a man with red eyes and pitch black hair. "Sebastian Michaelis, I should've known." Claude rolls his eyes and let's out a frustrated sigh.

The man- Sebastian, smirks. I wipe the smirk off his face by elbowing him in his stomach and he let's out a gasp of shock. My eyes widened as the box in his hand falls along with me. The box opens and I see a young boy, no older than me, curled up inside.

Alois grins, "Ciel Phantomhive!" I frown, so this was the infamous boy. Nonetheless, he looked so kind...even with his unconscious form. 'I wonder what color his eyes are...? Blue. Really...? They must be a beautiful sight...' I think to myself and tilt my head a bit, only to be grabbed once more by that- Sebastian as he shut the suitcase.

"Claude! This is an order! Get back my Ria and bring me Ciel Phantomhive!" Alois' voice knocks me out of my thoughts. "Alois it'll be alright, don't worry about me." I spoke softly to reassure him and gasped as Sebastian jumped on a cart, I knew I missed words exchanged between Claude and the male.

Instead of staying though, I break some of my wrist and finger bones to escape Sebastian's grasp. He let's out a slight gasp of shock as my bones crack back into place, leaving behind a dull throbbing that I'll deal with later.

"Ria! Kill him!" Alois screams angrily, seeing as I'm the closest to Sebastian. "I'm terribly sorry, but Alois' needs come first sir." I speak soft and see Sebastian eye me as if making a decision. "I'm sorry as well." He states and before I can attempt to do anything...

Sebastian's hand slices through my stomach.
