Ever since a little girl Jonna has been hurting. Her parents would always fight and they finally left her. She was raised by her aunt and was abused badly and she stills has the scars. Then Jonna's aunt left, along with her two little cousins. She used to have three but one died because of Jonna leaving to live with her grandparents. Jonna loved that one cousin. He was like her brother. She fell in a deep depression and kept crying herself to sleep for a few years. Her friends never knew about Jonna's pain. She hid it behind all the yelling and arguing. All the fighting and some smiles. She was made fun all the time but she wouldn't tell anyone. Jonna would do a lot of dangerous things at home just to get the thought of her cousin's death, her aunt, her mom, and her father, out of her head. She hated her aunt and was scared of her that she would keep having nightmares of her killing herself but she never told anyone. Finally a boy came along and he liked Jonna. He barely knew her and the things she's been through. The boy asked Jonna to be his girlfriend. Jonna thought that by saying yes it might take away her pain. She said yes and along the way she actually fell in love with the boy. The hugs and kisses made Jonna forget her pain. It made her happy. Jonna trusted the boy so she told him all about her and her past. The boy was actually kind of disgusted. After a while he broke up with her. Jonna couldn't go to school the next day because she was too busy crying and watching the blood run down her arms and legs. He didn't love her when she loved him.
