WITHIN THE INFINITY CASTLE

"HAYAMI!!!!"

Falling down at rapid speed I could feel the wind pounding against my ears, and my heart accelerating from the sudden fall. It was so sudden that even all of us missed this, and now we're pummelling to our deaths? Slowly calming my body while falling, I pin drop down to accelerate my speed to reach Sanemi before reaching out to him. His hand reaches up to grab my own, into a firm grip before he yanks me down into his arms. His grip tightens around my back and waist as we kept falling to our deaths, before he uses one hand to grip his sword.

"Hang on....." he utters.

Within a second he inhales before exhaling before he uses a move, which causes our bodies to change course with gravity. He pushes our bodies towards a floor that was open, which seemed polished than anything. Taking that opportunity I bury my face into his neck ready for the collision; hitting the floor heavily knocking the air from our lungs. We both stunned from the impact, that I gasp for air while he growls and inhales sharply. Eerie silence seems to blanket over the fact that we're in the devils territory now, caging us within. Fluttering my eyes open slowly trying to ease the discomfort in my chest, I gaze up to see him checking me for wounds immediately.

"You alright?" He murmurs quietly, clasping his hands either side of my face with his protective side showing. 

Nodding slowly, "I am, I'm alright......" my eyes taking in everything, as his hands fall from my face slowly. "So.......is, is this the place you and Iguro saw weeks ago?" I question, while trying to figure out a way to get out of here and fast. 

Sanemi stood up with his body shadowing mine, "Yeah.......didn't realise how big it was...." he growls lowly, gripping his blade with a sharp chink to his handle. 

"Well, all we can is try and figure a way to find Muzan's bod--" I began to strategise; before a putrid smell empowers my senses seeing a demon flying towards me. "Look out."

 Drawing my sword I inhale and exhale, slicing it within a second. It's body is sliced in half and then disintegrates into thin air, before another comes but much larger. Not having enough time to react, another soon attacks Sanemi while I took on the larger one. My blade severs it's arm, but it comes back into two limbs instantly with fast regeneration. Gripping my blade tighter, I swiftly try to aim for it's neck this time with much more strength in my bicep and forearm.

"Hayami!" Sanemi growls, but soon tonnes of demons came barreling at him all at once. His cuts were clean and precise, yet so messy like a hurricane trying to destroy whatever is in his way.

Chunks of flesh flying in different directions, as steel tears through the thick flesh of the demons that kept falling before our feet. 

Demons kept coming at us from left to right, not giving enough time to react from the horde of devils coming our way. Managing so far we stood back to back, when suddenly something large grabs me from behind from a small gap between us, as I gasp. I found myself being pushed off the edge of the floor within the flicker of my eyes, feeling like time had slowed down all at once agonisingly slow. For a second my eyes slice across to see Sanemi glancing over his shoulder, with a look of horror and shock on his face. Time catches up again when the weight of gravity pulls me down with the demon with force, before angling my body  and plunging my blade into the demons back. 

Gathering my strength I slash vertically up it's spine with a squelching sound of bone and flesh, before slashing across it's thick neck as it's body disappears above me.
