Maddie's Pov:
It all began after my mom's divorce. She married a man called Eric. He was the one that began the abusing. Every evening after school I would enter the house and see a drunk man on the couch constantly screaming at the television. As soon as he sees me,he says,"You're late so your grounded," but in reality I was ten minutes early. I got to my room thinking why did my mother marry him and soon remembered he was rich. My mom fell for his tricks and she began abusing me too. They have a whole closet full of metal and steel just for beating me. I began my homework and was soon it erupted by my mom screaming,"Maddison Nicole Ziegler get down here now!!" Every time she uses my whole name it is NEVER good. I rushed downstairs and met an angry face staring right into my soul. She said,"Your stepfather told me you were late again," I then replied,"But I was actu-" and was cut by her angry voice saying,"Shut up and turn around." After that conversation I had ten bruises on my back.
