Rachel's heart monitor started to get slower and slower and I got more and more worried as the doctors handed me my baby and told me to get out of the room. The shut the door as I looked down at the little boy crying in my arms. I tried to shush him and he cooperated with me, and fell asleep quickly. I started packing up and down the hallways until the doctor came out.
"She's going to need a lung transplant, her left lung collapsed." he said and I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding.

"Hey." I said smiling.
"Finn, I want to name him Easton." Rachel said seriously.
"Why so quick?" I asked.
"If something happens to me, I want is to have picked a name together." she said.
"Rachel, nothing is gonna happ-" I got cut off by the doctor.
"Time for surgery." he said.
"I love you."
"I love you too, Rach." I smiled. He wheeled Rachel's hospital bed out of the room as she blew me a kiss and little did I know that was the last time I would ever speak to my wife.
