Best Friends

Gon's P.O.V

Me and Killua have been best friends for a few months now since that day at the park. We even joined the kick boxing club together, but lately I've been feeling a bit weird.

Killua is always surrounded by tons of girls, and he's becoming even more popular. They're always flirting with him and girls are always confessing to him. He even gets tons love letters in his locker. I don't know why but it makes me really mad.

"Hey Gon are you alright, you've been kinda down lately," Kurapika asks.

"I'm fine," Gon says, "It just seems like Killua is always so busy with his "fans", it's pretty annoying."

"Oh Gon's getting jealous~" Leorio teases, "So Gon really does like Killua~"

"W-What! I'm not jealous!" Gon quickly states getting a bit flustered, "and what do you mean like him?!"

"Nothing nothing," Leorio laughs, "I was just teasing." Kurapika hits Leorio on the head. "Stop messing around, idiot!"

"Come on its time to get to class," Kurapika grabs Leorio and starts dragging him to class. "See ya later Gon!" They both shout.

Killua's P.O.V

It seems like I've gotten to spend less and less time with Gon which really upsets me. Gon is my first and best friend, and with all these girls always hanging around me it's hard to talk to him. I really wish they would just leave me alone.

Schools over and me and Gon are walking to kick boxing practice together. "Hey Gon come over to my house today! I just bought a new video game we can play! We can even have a sleep over!" I ask excitedly.

"Okay I'll ask Mito-San, but are you sure you're not gonna be busy with your 'fangirls'" Gon looks up at me pouting cutely. Wait did I just think Gon was cute?! No no I can't think of Gon as cute. I shake my head a little out of frustration, "What are you talking about I don't even read those dumb letters."

"Good cause no girl is taking my best friend away," Gon says as he hugs my arm.

After practice me and Gon walked over to my house and played the new video game I bought and ate some pork buns we bought at the connivence store on the way over.

Narrator

"Hey Killua I'm getting kinda tired," the tan skinned boy says. "Okay," Killua says as he shuts off the game,"let's get in bed then."

The boys both walk into Killua's room and climb into bed together.

BAM! Thunder starts, scaring Gon so badly he holds onto Killua for dear life.

"G-Gon what are you doing? It's just thunder!" Killua blushes a little and tries to push the frightened boy off of him. "I'm scared.." Gon says quietly and looks up at Killua with a cute face. Killua looks away embarrassed, "I-I guess its okay if its only for today," Killua mutters and pulls Gon close to his chest.

Gon and Killua both enjoyed the warmth of each others bodies cuddled together.

Gon felt a tight but warm feeling in his chest. He didn't really know how to describe it but he liked it. He liked being by Killua's side.

Gon nuzzled his head into Killua's neck and the two boys fell asleep.
