Today was the day. The day I was going to do something right for once. My friend Bridget was going to be by my side the whole through the conversation. "Nat." Bridget says poking the side of my hip trying to get my attention that had a very short span.

"What?"

"You know what today is right?"

"Yeah." Natalie sighs putting her down slightly. "The stupid campaign thing I am going to lose by a long shot. I am totally going to get beat out by Miss. Popular Brittany Hanks." Natalie mocks.

"No she isn't Brittney is a skank. She will be lucky if anybody votes for you. When they call out the winner they are going to be saying Natalie Brandle won by a long shot." Bridget tells her. "And besides even if you do lose you are still going to be on a billion different clubs." Bridget reminds her.

"I know, but it won't be the same considering I have been on the committing chair for as long as I can remember."

"Which you can remember things back when you were a toddler. I am trying to figure out how I put up with you." Bridget jokes with a small smile. "On with the better news, Brandy is going to be running for class president too. Maybe if you guys get together in the same room." Bridget winks.

"Bridge, I am going to make a fool of myself before I even get elected just imagine how many foolish things I am going to do in that room. I will get lucky if I don't staple my sleeve to a piece of paper."

"Probably." Bridget agrees. "I will be by your site and make sure that you don't make a fool of yourself in the hallways though." Bridget shines her award winning smile at Natalie before wrapping her arm around Nat's.

"Now let's go to this election a beat on that slut that calls herself Brittney." Natalie laughs before pushing open the doors of their highschool. As Bridget walked down to her locker her light brown hair bounced in its giant curls that went into a swirl.

The complete opposite of Bridget, Natalie had dark brown hair almost black and midnight blue eyes. Their bestfriend Hanna, Miss. Shopper came walking down the hall strutting off her brand new outfit she probably either shop lifted or got a deal on. Her blonde curls blew in the wind as she made her way over to them leaning against locker 265. "Hey guys. Guess what Brittney is wearing?" Hanna inquires looking into Natalie's locker mirror while putting on her usual lip stick.

"What?"

"A shirt that is tucked in and high waisted shorts." Hanna describes while wrinkling up her nose. "That's soo last year. Right?" she points over to the girl across the hallway who was wearing a light pink colored shirt with her white high waisted shorts and a white necklace.

"I hate Brittney soo much." Hanna goes on about. "I mean come on she doesn't even know what the word stylish means. If I told her, that her clothes were tacky she probably would say thank you."

Natalie couldn't help, but let out a small snicker after hearing that. "You know in a way Han, I think you maybe right. Should we go up and ask her ourselves?"

"No."

"Why not Bridge?" Hanna questions chewing on her mint piece of gum while adjusting her necklace.

"Because if we do it then she will probably try and pull some strings to make Natalie lose and I don't want to see that happen to her." Bridget reminds them looking over at the giggling blonde standing next James. The second most popular boy in school. "You know James only wants her body, not her?"

"Yeah we know that and then when he gets tired of her body he decided that he wants a more hotter body." Natalie says keeping her eyes locked on Brittney. Hanna and Bridget share a look before glancing over at their friend.

"I bet you want that person to be you. Don't you?" Hanna teases with a giant smile pushing her sun glasses down her nose until she could look at them with her gorgeous ocean blue eyes. "No girl. I am going to be next." Hanna jokes.

"You know Han, I actually do seeing you next. I bet your totally going to be a victim way before me because I don't fall for that flirting crap." Natalie seriously tells Hanna with her challenging face.

"You got herself a deal Nat. First one to fall for either James or Brandy loses." Hanna reaches over and grabs ahold of Natalie's hand. "Oh and by the way. I have a very high self esteem unlike you. Hopefully they don't break your heart."

Hanna giggles a bit before sashaying her way away from her posse of friends. Natalie knew in her heart she wasn't going to fall for either; Brandy or James, even if her life depended on it.
