Mumma Loves You Dada Loves You

It all seemed so familiar. Him. The red head and the boy with the messy hair and glasses. Them going into hiding. The baby that they both loved so much even though they had so little time with him.
They had heard the rumors. Harry and Ginny Potter. They had heard of the muggle killing and jailed death eaters being broken out of Azkaban. So they went into hiding. They had made Ron the secret keeper. They thought they were safe. They Weren't
Ginny Potter had just took a near perfect soufflé out of the oven and gotten the high chair ready with the mashed up fruit in a bowl for the baby. Ginny smiled just thinking about him. Teddy. Oh that sweet little baby was going to be the death of her. He had taken to a certain appearance as of late. The baby now concentrated on having uncontrollable black hair (if he got mad or upset if you looked closely you could see a slight red tinge to it) and deep chocolate brown eyes. He always had a smile on his face and as she popped her head into the living room she saw his face light up as Harry made colored bubbles stream from his wand. Ginny caught Harry's eye and waved him over to the kitchen. Harry picked Teddy up and 'flew' him into the kitchen. Once everyone was in there seats they started to eat.
The evening continued normally and just as Ginny went to go upstairs to grab Teddy's pajamas they heard a noise outside. They all froze. Even little Teddy who didn't know what was going on. He knew it was important. Harry looked on his surveillance system he has put out when they moved in. He had to trust things both muggle and wizard nowadays. To his horror it wasn't Ron, Hermione, Luna, Neville, or anyone else who was supposed to know this place was even there. They Had made sure no one but the people who the secret keeper told knew where this was. Ginny knew what had happened immediately. They had gotten Hermione and Ron had given the secret location. She knew they should have gone with Hermione, she never would have told. Ginny quickly signed 'I love you' in sign language (they had both learned it for fun, but it sure counted now). She scooped up Teddy and ran for the nursery. She put Teddy in his crib and whispered almost exactly what Lily Potter had said to Harry in the same situation.
"You are loved Teddy so, so very loved. Mumma loves you Dada loves you."

When they took Teddy in he became their son. They had unofficially decided this in their minds, but hadn't talked to each other about it until on Teddy's first Christmas in front of all of their family and friends Teddy looked clearly at Ginny and Harry and said "Mumma wuv, Dada wuv." Then giggled.
Harry stared in shock and then started yelling "That's my son! That's my son! Forget first words my boy said his first sentence! Oh, Gin! You hear that?! Oh wow!" He then ran outside and yelled. In Ginny's mind she was his mother already, it only occurred to her that other people might not think so when people came up and congratulated her on 'becoming a mother' (she of course when told this snapped at the person that she was already a mother before. They then feverishly apologised.)
   It then all happened like it happened with Lily and James. Harry died first. Ginny begged and begged for him to only kill her and leave Teddy alone. He killed her then moved onto Teddy. Then there was a new Boy Who Lived. Teddy had managed to crawl out of his crib somehow and was patting Ginny's face saying "Mummy, Mummy I wan' bubble. Daddy." Referencing to the bubbles that had been coming out if Harry's wand not even 5 hours ago.

Luna Lovegood-Longbottom was the one who found them. She walked past Harry and rushed towards the sound of Teddy's voice. She plucked Teddy away from a cold lifeless Ginny and called Neville immediately. They were next in line for Teddy seeing as how they were made his godparents when Harry and Ginny adopted him.
Teddy watched as the big adults took bags out of his house while he was in his Aunt Luna's arms. He looked at the house waiting for his 'Mumma and Dada' to come and take him back inside.
Everyone knew that the dreaded Lord Voldemort was gone for good. And what a horrible price to pay for this.

   Okay, so yes that was horrible but I just love the whole Harry, Ginny, Teddy family idea. I am sorry they had to die so none of the other Potter children exist but...
