Prologue

God was I tired of running. My feet slapped against the cold ground, heart banging against my chest. My breath came out in whispy threads of frigid air. Why did it have to be the middle of winter? Aparantly the tee shirt and shorts I was sporting didn't really fit the weather.

Oh, right, running. Maybe I should get back to that. Running from what, you must be asking? Well, I'm not entirely sure. Death? Probably. That's the most plausable answer. As long as I was sprinting, then I was fine.

Ragged rocks pierced my feet and I brought my trembling lips together to form an 'O' shape. I let out a long, pitchy whistle that echoed through the forest that surrounded me. My eyes squeezed shut as I stopped running. The sounds of roaring and growls were heard behind me. He was here. I was safe. That was all that mattered.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: God this doesn't explain anything. ANYTHING. I'M TOO LAZY, ALRIGHT? Sorry XD anyway, first story in a very long time. Oopsy. Hope to upload the first chapter soon. Then maybe things will straighten out....
