It was a close town to many towns. The town of Martinez somewhere in California he lived. Kin studied all day and night over the summer, during the free time he was given by the traditional break that school was given. He wore his black slim glasses only when he needed to read or write for long periods of time, his brown hazel eyes were sometimes sensitive to light. Kin wore a hoodie that he could swim in. A XXL size hoodie all shaggy and black covering his 5ft 6 tall figure. A thin body he had with light tan skin. Only a few more days before his high school would start up for another avenge school year. He would be starting his sophomore year.
"Never the less this generation of teenagers or youth likes to be entertained, amused as you would say. Unfortunately their focus will only tend to fights or utter humiliation that are broadcasted online. What happened to people looking at fireworks?" Kin talked to himself in his small room with a vast window looking out to a local shopping plaza and some tall trees that lead into the horizon. His desk was filled with journals of his own passages and observations on the human being. Most of them were filled with theories and beside them were books with the content of psychology in them. His brown shaggy hair hanged over his forehead as he wrote in his 120 page journal that he entitled "XX33". His phone buzzed beside his writing hand, his left hand on his desk alarming him he just received a text from his friend, James.

James:

Hey what's up with you??

Kin: Writing right now dude

James: dude give yourself a break and fuck what they say. you don't have to find out why they say things they do

Kin: not finding out I'm trying to understand so I could deal with their insults more better

James: Ok ok I respect that, I get it. It's kinda like if a bully was bulling me physically, I would want to find a way or how you would say it "understand" a way to kick his ass

Kin: yeah something like that

James: yeah something like that. Look you need to get out some more. You know Jen, Carson and me been at your front door steps asking your mother can you come out to hang out. And you know how many times we were all dissapointed so many times everytime she said...... Oh he doesn't want to come out right now he's busy. You know kin sorry guys.......

Kin: look I'm sorry, just...you know how I am and thanks for still being a friend

James: no problem but you need sometime to get out man. Need to stop being clustered up in that small ass room like really you may fuckin suffocate

Kin: yeah yeah ok :/

James: hey I'm just concerned the others are to

Kin placed his phone on his night stand next to his bed that was placed next to his window. He went back to his desk and started to write again. "impulsive this generation is. With the technology and the accelerating speed our 1st world nation youth have, teens are trying to become more and more fast with their actions and referring to the vast and accelerating technology the youth haves the ability to." It was raining out as the sun died down over the horizon.
He awoken from a text the next day. Outside, the ground and mostly everywhere were soaked in rain water. The sun rise light glistening on the rain covered streets and trees. Kin saw he left his journal open which he usually close before going to sleep. His focus turned to his phone that just buzzed vibrating on his night stand. It was a text from Jen.

Jen: heyy we got a week before school starts again please exit that house of yours and hang with your friends man.. Like come on let the past be the past.

Kin: I already have I just like to understand this fuckin mainstream youth that seem so poisoned...

Jen: Ok I don't know where you trying to get at. Please it's no fun without you no more

Kin: look give me 3 hours and I meet you guys at the park

Jen: sure man Ok I tell James. I don't know about Carson though hes sick I think

Kin: Ok

Kin ended the conversation by abandoning his phone on the night stand and intending to his desk. He talked to himself again. "How come the popular term gay is used as a insult now a days... I mean it always had been maybe since the 80's. But it's more common now, greatly used to specificy someone as a lower human being or to insult them for a temporary amount of time. But why use a sexual orientation term to specify someone as stupid, idiot, imbecile, dumb, lame, I could greatly go on and on. As so many words that this damn youth can use to insult someone but they use a sexual orientation term to describe something bad. Such stupidity. Such ignorance. Such pity towards the way they speak with such little vocabulary they may posses" He got worked up a little. "Am I being defensive or butt hurt? Of course but who will? Maybe is the fear of some people of being gay because they think the others, the flock of cool kids won't accept them. Why beat them you should join them. Most may think most may say most may speak most may pray. But joining such a thing that you are strongly against or Fear causes you as a person to lose some sense of morality you formerly held...or just makes you lose somehow to yourself" he seemed to be not making sense he thought. He let out a big sigh closing his book with ease so that it doesn't make allot of noise. He made his way out his apartment with his hands stuffed in his pockets of his hoodie walking to the near by park.
"hey hey look you came out to play" James kindly taunted as he greeted Kin walking towards the bench James and Jen were sitting on. James with short hair, brown eyes and dark skin wearing a Black Keys hoodie with no sleeves. "Hey study boy" Jen subtly waved. "it's not study it's more like writing and reading for answers, whatever" he pulled his hood down reveling his shaggy hair, stuffing his hands back in his pockets. The wind blew slightly as the trees making a nice brushing sound. James spoke after a mid silence. "So anyone ready for the new year?" He said looking at Jen then to Kin. "The new year? People now a days seem to never change how I look at it. So why call it a new year since we just going to see the same damn people, saying and doing the same damn things?"
Kin sat on the grass that surrounded and complimented the bench. "You know what I mean" James said looking at Kin with slight angry beam. "Look man, you can't let those mainstream assholes get to you ok? I remember what happened but everything worked out ok?" James trying to comfort Kin. "Stop saying that. I'm not letting them get to me I am just curious why they think the world is theirs and only theirs, and like to know how come they can't fully express themselves" Kin said grabbing at the grass. Jen stood up stretching. Her long black with purple highlights hair blew slightly in the wind. "what do you mean fully express themselves?" Jen asked quirking an eyebrow looking Kin's direction. "There are footballers, cheerleaders, cliche main stream higschoolers. They to me seem like clones who always try to impress other clones..." Kin explained raising his voice a little. He lay on the grass looking up. "I kinda get what you mean but that's them you can't worry about them. Worry about you" James said looking at him from an high angle. "oh so should I tell paleontologist to stop worrying about Dinosaurs? Or tell astronomers to stop looking into space cause let space be and worry about yourself? Huh?" Kin looked frustrated. Feeling as though his friends were looking at him like a bad guy. "No dude you getting the wrong message I'm not fuckin saying that I'm just suggesting you don't worry about them. They got their side of the wall and we got ours." James rested his elbows on his knees looking down at Kin. "But how are we supposed to have peace when they throw crap over the wall" Kin pouted. James shrugged.
