Chapter Five - Under One Roof

Arizona's POV
''Are you out of your mind!'', I hear Blair yell at Nate in the other room. They've just settled in a few days and everything was fine. Blair came because of the Gossip Girl message. They have been doing that for an hour now.

I plug in my ears and read a book in the living room. Our house in huge and Big H will be home for Christmas, so..

Nate and Blair suddenly burst in. I put away my book and sigh loudly.

''Hello Blair, Nate.'', I say, staying polite.

''Yeah, hi. Here's the thing, I don't trust you with my boyfriend.'', Blair says.

''Okay, good for you. Anything else you'd like to share?''

''I'm gonna take Nate with me.''

''Look, no offence, Blair. But he's safer here. Your family isn't half as powerful as mine.''

''Well, offence taken!''

''Blair..'', Nate starts and they exchange looks while I sigh.

''Then I'll be staying here too.'', Blair says.

''What?''

''Yeah.''

''No.''

''I am not leaving you alone with my boyfriend!''

''I don't want your boyfriend! That's why he's yours!''

''I'm still staying.''

''No, you're not, Blair.''

We would've continued forever if Chuck wouldn't have come in trough the elevator.

''Who let you in?!'', I ask.

''I did.'', he replies. ''I protect Nate and I don't trust you.''

''Well, then get together with Blair and start a club. I'm getting the hell out of here.'', I say and go outside.

I regret it immediatly because it's cold outside and I forgot to bring a sweater or jacket. I sit in the garden, where the moonflowers open. The light is so pretty.

''I almost forgot what it was like...'', I say to myself.

''Then stop this revenge.'', someone says behind me. I shock and put him down in reflex. He stares at me with open mounth.

''Don't sneak up on me.''

''Where did you learn.. Karate?''

I stay silent, obviously. I stand up and hold out my hand. He takes it and gets up too.

''Oh, here.'', Nate says and takes off his jacket.

''No, I'm fine. I just needed a moment.''

''Would you be okay with it if they stayed here? Please?''

''Nate, I'm not a total raging bitch without feelings. You don't have to beg me and hope I don't destroy you. They can stay, but if my sister comes home and she sends you all away, then I can't do anything about it.''

''What about Jenny?''

''I'll get their home back in no-time, but they're welcome to stay as long as they want.''

''I'm sorry about everything.''

''It's okay, I bet Chuck didn't even tell you.''

''Tell me what?''

''Nothing.''

''So we're good?''

''Yes.''

He streches out his arms. ''Hug? People hug each other.''
