25 June. 00:27.
Dean: Heyyyy
Alexandra: hallooo
Dean: What's your number
Dean: I wanna introduce you into a group
Alexandra: Hp number?
Dean: Yea
Alexandra: And what group? *eyes you suspiciously*
Dean: A group which consists of people from different schools so that we can make new friends
Dean: And form new alliances to converse about our interests and likings
Alexandra: wow okay
Alexandra: How did you know that I was so anti-social? XD

And that was the beginning.
I stepped into the Bar.
And I met Dirk.

Dirk was no ordinary young man.
He was extraordinarily handsome, adorable even. He had a way with his words and seemed to fit the bill as my soulmate really quickly. His ruffled dark hair complemented with his devilish smile made many giggle and smirk. I wasn't exactly sure if I was stepping into the danger zone if I liked him for I already knew that there were two who obviously had a thing for the man. One, an insecure young preteen who had a crush on Dirk as well as Emmanuel, a fellow friend of his. The other, was a sad case of bisexuality. Alexandra made no mistake and started talking to the young Dirk, who she soon grew to have a liking towards. As did he when she revealed her heart and soul to him early. Less than a month into their friendship, she declared her feelings out in the open for him to hear. He rejected, but she didn't accept that as the final say. She continued to talk to him until they both grew tired and slept. She ached for him to be in her arms, as they would do in text. To have him by her side, to gently kiss his cheek and tell him that he meant so much to her.

She lusted over his touch and so did he. They agreed that they were barely legal but she loved every moment of him thinking about breaking the rules just to be with her. And he loved every moment of being with her too.
She waited for the day when they could both hold hands and just rest in each other's company.
And that day was soon.
Quite soon, in fact.

However, on the other side of the story, was Dean.
Dean and Alexandra were chosen to play the dreaded couple in the Crystal Necklace, labelled simply as 'Mr Fong' and 'Mrs Fong'. She felt ample anxiety as she took his hands into hers, her heart beating wildly. She burst into laughter as he told her romantic lines from his memory, and enjoyed his humour. He grinned, enjoying her sunshine-like personality and her, just being elated with him. The excitememt faded fast, but he wanted it to last and so he did ask for her to be his. She, at the time, was and still is, fascinated with someone else. And she didn't know what to tell him. She didn't want to hurt or break his heart. But the truth had to be told.
Even if Dean had loved Dirk.
Even if Dean wanted to chase Alexandra, he had to know.

His heart did crack.
And she stayed, trying to hold the leftover pieces together. Even if it might be false then. She held false beliefs as the glue to fix the heart. Her tears rolling down her pale cheeks, she said 'yes' to the chance of their future. She may not love him, but she's willing to, just so she did not have to see him suffer the pain she has.

Just so he could know that she cared.
