Appearance: Hispanic; fit from doing field work and chores, but naturally slim. Dark brown eyes, and a massive mane of black hair, usually restrained to a long braid. Used to be, thanks to her douchebag slaveholder, you'd only find her in farmer's wear: oversized pants, droopy shirts, and bandanas to keep the sun off. She only recently upgraded to boot-cut jeans, black boots, and blouses.
Powers: None; she owns an enormous, red butterfly named Monarch, however, who possesses mysterious powers that she can access when she touches her (such as when Monarch is sitting on her head). Most of the time, Sor Juana utilizes Monarch's powers over teleportation, making Sor Juana's attack patterns rather unpredictable.
Likes: Being able to defend herself, cooking, fighting, Monarch, freedom, ample amounts of food, shopping, and watching TV; she is slowly developing a taste for rum.
Dislikes: Being treated like furniture, verbal arguments, threats to Monarch, slaveholders, slavery in general.
Personality Traits: She's quite sheltered, as she was just recently liberated from her cruel "master"; she's introspective, hesitant, second-guesses herself and overthinks things; however, she possesses a quiet strength and is focused and strong during battle.
Interesting Fact: She's got siblings out there somewhere that she's never met. They were separated at birth and given to different masters. Maybe she'll meet them again one day...
TV Shows: She's getting used to having steady access to a television. So far, she seems to like Supernatural, the Walking Dead, Sherlock, Dr. Who, and Sons of Anarchy.
Movies: The Captain made her watch Pirates of the Caribbean so she could see what being a pirate was all about; unfortunately, she can now be seen compulsively re-watching any of the movies during her downtime.
Besides Pirates, she also likes: Transformers, Clash of the Titans, Avatar, Reign of Fire, the Mummy, Back to the Future, and...uh...Multiplicity.
Anime: She's addicted to Pokémon; despite his douchey behavior, she fangirls over Gary Oak.
