Luke Imagine: Beside You

You and Luke are the best of friends. You've both known each other since you were little. You were 16 and he was 19, but the age difference never bothered you. You knew always knew you had feelings for him. You would get butterflies in your stomach everytime you were around him and your heart would beat out of your chest. He was the most beautiful human being you've ever seen, from his lucious blonde hair to his sparkling blue eyes to his million dollar smile. You were good at hiding your jitters, as Luke never seemed to notice. You wanted him more than anything. Ever since he became famous and started to go on tour, you guys have drifted apart a little more. But however, keeping in touch through phone calls, texts, and Skype. You always missed Luke while he was on tour, wishing he was holding you in his arms. When he came home from tour the two of you would spend every moment together. To you that was pure bliss. You loved Luke very much.

Today was the day Luke finally came from tour. You got ready to go pick him up from the airport. You wanted to look extra special today. You took a shower and put some moose in your already naturally wavy hair. You put on some masara and eyeliner to pop your (Y/E/C) eyes. You went upstairs to get dressed and put on your favorite Halsey shirt, a pair of demin shorts, and your favorite pair of converse shoes. Then you noticed Luke's red flannel hanging in your closet. You took it off the hanger and smelled it. His scent to you was heaven, and it smelled of musky amber. You imagined yourself in his arms oncemore. "Snap out of it (Y/N)!" you thought to yourself. "It's never gonna happen anyways." You tied his flannel around your waist.

You sighed and looked in the mirror. Once you were satisfied with your appearence you grabbed your car keys and drove to the airport. Your thoughts thundered in your head. Would Luke ever have feelings for you? Would he think of you differently if you told him?

You arrived at the airport and walked to the gates to wait for Luke's flight to arrive. You play on your phone to pass by time. Suddenly you hear screaming fans. You knew the band has just arrived.

Calum was the first one to appear. Then Michael. Then Ashton. The last boy to come out was the guy you have been waiting to see for 6 months. Your eyes lit up at the sight of him. He looked perfect. You run towards him and into his arms without saying a word, burying your head in his chest as he wraps his arms around you and strokes your hair.

"I missed you so much (Y/N)" Luke whispered into your ear. "I missed you too." You replied shyly.

You two finally seperate and walk out of the airport together to your car. "Hand over the car keys." he said. "I'll drive." You nodded your head and gave him your keys.

"What would you like to do?" Luke asked as he drove. "We can head back to my place if you'd like?"

"That sounds perfect to me" you smiled.

You love how Luke considered your insight on stuff. He's such an amazing and caring soul. The two of you laughed and talked on the car ride to his place. When you finally arrived at his house, you both sit down on the couch.

"Let's have a movie night like we used to!" Luke exclaimed. You haven't had a movie night with him in about a year or
so and you missed them. "Of course I would like to have a movie night!" you say. "You get the movies, I'll make popcorn!" Luke leaves the room while you skip to the kitchen to make the popcorn.

Luke returns to the room with the movie "Scream" in his hands. "Scream" terrified you. That movie made you want to crawl under a rock. You let his him have his way because he just came home from tour. You finish the popcorn and try to reach for a bowl in the cabinent but realize you are too short to grasp it.

"Let me give you a hand" says Luke as he comes behind you, grasping your waist with his big hands, and picks you up so you can reach for the bowl. Your face turns beet red as he sets you down. "Thank you" you mumble to him as you pour the popcorn into the bowl.
