Chapter 21: Nightmare

Peyton POV

My eyes are wide open looking straight at the swing. I then realize I'm in the secret garden. I get up and I run to the door. I open the door and I see Rowan in the middle of the street on her phone, I walk up to her but then....car....Right at that second I run to her and I YELL HER NAME and push her out of the way and....

I pop my eyes open

"PEYTON!!" Rowan screams with tears streaming down her face shaking me

I sit up and I crash my lips onto hers and I hug her like if I let go I'll never see her again.

We pull away

"Peyton you were crying and screaming my name and I panicked and---" I cut her off

"It's okay it was only a nightmare ok?" I say wiping the tears off her face with my thumbs

"Peyton why were you screaming and crying? What happened?!" She asks desperately

"Rowan you know I love you?" I say

She nods knowing I'm not done

"I love you too much that I don't want you to be worried. Please let's just forget about it ok?" I finish. I take her hand and I rub our promise ring with my thumb.

"K" she says then kisses my cheek"

Rowan POV

(Before the breakdown)

I looked at the text

It says--- "hi honey! I hope your doing great over there! I love you!" His mom texts

I smiled at the text for a moment then I feel Peyton shaking, I look at him and my smile drops. Tears are streaming down his face and he still has his eyes closed and his mouth is moving. I try to shake him but he would get worse.

"ROWAN!!!!! ROWAN!!!! ROWAN!!!!! AAAAA!!!!! ROWAN!!!!!" He screams. I start to shake him while tears flood out our eyes. He still wouldn't wake.

"PEYTON!!" I screamed and shook letting tears fall.

He finally sprung his eyes open.

(Back to the present)

I snuggled as he held me tight putting his arms around my waist. Protectively. I was so glad to have a boy like him in my life. Nothing can break us apart.

Sabrina POV

Bradley and I face timed all night talking about if we should actually admit or give hints about our relationship. We both settled on give hints and then work our way to typically admitting it. We also stalked 'Brabrina' fan accounts. People even started making 'Wattpad' stories about us. We even saw A TON of Reyton/ Rucas edits, collages, videos, stories, accounts, and LOTS of rants about Rucas and Lucaya. Bradley was like "seriously do they not care about brabrina?!"

"Are you becoming a fan girl over your own ship name?" I ask trying not to laugh

"NO! I'm becoming a fan BOY there's a difference!" He responds harshly

"I don't even know if there's a difference anymore?" I say face palming

"I know right"

I yawn "umm I'm tired I'm gonna go to sleep now"

"Party pooper."

"Hey I didn't poop in a party!" I say sarcastically

"Whatever goodnight B" he says

"Goodnight brads." I say

I hang up and I go straight to bed.

Rowan POV

I wake up still in his arms. I'm so happy to have him.

"Good morning." I say softly caressing his cheek

He flutters his eyes open then smiles.

I smile back and kiss him on the cheek.

"Good morning Rowboat." He says

"I love you" I say

"I love you too." He kisses my lips and goes onto his phone

I see him scrolling down on his texts then stops at one particular one.

When he realizes I'm looking, he immediately scrolls down to his Mom's text from last night.

"Pey what was that?" I question
