The night was thick with silence.

No matter where she looked, there was no kindness.

She ran through the forest, hitting branches.

As she got closer, she ran out of chances.

He had kept her for days and days.

While she layed there accepting her fate with a tired gaze.

He took her innocence away from her.

The reasons why, she was unsure.

She was taken right off the street.

To a place unfamiliar, just to be beat.

He told her over and over that he was going to kill her.

These emotional scars, no one would be able to cure.

One day he made a mistake.

This opportunity, she was quick to take.

When he came into the room, he left the door open just a crack.

She ran for it, hoping her legs wouldn't lack.

She ran as fast as she could.

Too bad she didn't recognize the wood.

She tripped and fell.

Her body feeling like an empty shell.

She knew he would soon be near.

This is the part where she had the greatest fear.

He caught up rather fast.

Her chances of getting away was now the past.

He ripped her clothes off.

Sounding disgusting as he did a raspy cough.

He slowly pulled out a blade.

Then, dragged her into the shade.

He sliced every inch of her skin.

Digging the knife deeper and deeper in.

He choked her but, let her go after she turned purple.

Peeled the skin from her back, making her feel like a turtle.

Her invisible shell being taken away.

Her numb feelings going astray.

He took everything she ever had.

Turned it all downright sad.
