My eyes sealed shut and my hands pressed together. I took in a breathe and then exhaled. Opening my eyes to the bright light of The Truth. Taking in the sight of the pure white walls and the figure in front of me.
"Young Eleanor, Daughter of Edward Elric. The Gifted mind of a young Alchemist. I've given you time to train and learn, to seek and explore. Now the time is here and it's up to you, Young Purity." It exhaled. "For you are Purity in all forms, All ways and all matters. You are all and you are one, you are pure and selfless. It's your choice to be.. Golden Heart Alchemist." It stood up.
-3 Years Before-
"I can't do it! I can't! I just can't! It's to hard Eleanor! I'm not like you!" Evan yelled thrashing his arms around like a toddler.
"Evan, just try! You'll get it, I promise. Just practice, okay?" I told my younger brother Evan Hoenhime Elric. He stood with his arms crossed over his chest with a pout.
"Maybe I don't wanna!" He shouted and stormed off.
"Arg! Why is he being such a brat today!" I yelled angrily.
"Hey! I can still hear you!" Evan shouted back.
"Maybe I wanted you to!" I retorted then flopped down on the couch. I rolled over with my head down screaming silently into the couch. 'Why did I have to teach the little brat today!? Dad needs to get back soon or I'm gonna loose it!' I thought. I rolled back over. I got up, I would have to apologise to Evan, I hated fighting with the brat. He was my little brother none the less and I loved him. I remember when he was born I was five at the the time and now I'm fifteen.
I started walking up the stairs sluggishly and then turning right down the hall to the first room then walking strait in. He was laying in his bed looking frustrated with his arm over his face.
"Why can't I be like you?" He said quietly.
I was born Alchemist I was doing it at the age of 2 but it hasn't come so easily Evan.
"Evan, you can't compare yourself to me, I'm older and I've had more experience. Anyway we have combat training now." I said quickly, helping wasn't my strong point, at all. He looked at me and sighed but he got up. He looks just like my dad, I always got told I looked like a feminine version of my dad, but he looked exactly like him.
"I'm gonna kick your ass." He smiled.
"There's the competitive little bastard I know and hate." I smiled back. He laughed then we headed to the back yard.
I wore my usual clothes black shorts with a white shirt and red tie and then my red cloche that went down to my waist and with a hood that covered the top part of my face. Evan wore his black jeans and a simple white top with a wrench on it, his hobby was building.
We walked out the door and saw our teacher Izumi Curtis sitting on a log waiting. She was staying for four weeks so she could teach us, and Sig came as well. I looked at her and waved, she gave a smile back and stood up. I was prepared for all of her attacks.
She charged at me with her right fist aimed at my face, I dodged grabbing her fist and pulling her forward making her stumble. Just before she corrected herself I tripped her over.
"Well Eleanor, I've taught you well." She smiled again, she went to get up but I swiftly pushed her back down and got her in a lock.
"Sure have." I said and let her go. I stood up and brushes myself off. She got up and gave me a hug then sat down again.
"Evan? Are you alright dear?" I heard Izumi say. I turned around and saw my little brother in tears, looking as if someone just died.
"Evan.." I called but he started running back inside the house. I looked back at Izumi's worried face then ran after Evan.
I got to his door and pushed it open.
-Present-
"I-I don't know what you mean?! I'm none of what you say! I'm not pure and in not kind! I'm not all and I'm now one.." I stuttered. Why was I here! I'm not supposed to be here.
"Eleanor Purity Elric.." It said walking closer.
"I'm Eleanor Trisha Elric! I told you I'm not pure! Why w-why am I here!?" I shouted angrily.
"My child, it's all clear.. You must find the truth, in the truth." It said coming closer.
"What?!" I yelled. It gestured for me to turn around.
