Vera's P.O.V
Cassie slipped through the door with me and Caden closed it without seeing her. I eyed her suspiciously and messaged her through the mind-link.
'Cassie? Is there something wrong? '
'Of course not! I'm just coming with you so we can have a sleepover! And knowing my brother, he'll probably ask you on a date tomorrow. So I'll have to get you ready' She chirps.
'Alright then let's go, but not to burst your bubble or anything but I can change into another person if I want to'
'Awww! No fair! Let's go anyways'
I grabbed her hand and teleported us outside my mansion.
"Woah! This place is huge, even bigger than the packhouse! And you live her alone!" She exclaimes.
"I don't live here alone." I corrected. I live with my food, I wanted to add, but it's not the right time to make her freak out. I unlocked the door and we entered. She gasped when she saw the inside.
"I wanna live with you!" She whispers as she looks around. I chuckle at her and lead her to my room.
My room is an en suite with a large bathroom, a walk-in-closet full of clothes for my mate and I, a king sized bed, dresser, 2 nightstands, a desk, some book shelves, a couch, 3 chairs, a large flat screen TV infront of the bed, and a small kitchen. All the room is in only 3 colors; black, red, and white.
"Oh you will." I tell her. She looks at me in confusion.
"What do you mean?"
"Well I hate living alone, so I'll make you and your brother, and friends live here instead of the packhouse!" I say excitedly. Her face lights up and she hugs me.
"Yay! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you." She squeals. I hug back and laugh.
"Your welcome! Now let's watch some movies shall we?"
We go down to prepare snacks and I suddenly hear Caden through the mind-link.
'Hey, Vera, I was w-wondering if you would like to g-go on a d'date with me t-tomorrow?' He stutters cutely.
"I would love to, Caden! What time? Would you come pick me up?'
'I would be in front of your house at 7. Oh and dress casual. Goodnight Vera, and goodluck with Cassie'
'Oh com'n, she's cool! Goodnight Caden'
And with that the mind-link is off. Wow Cassie was right! I can't wait for the date tomorrow.
3 movies, 2 popcorn bowls for Cassie, a house tour, some more stories, and a pillow fight later, we finally got in bed . It's dark so we can't see each other. And then I decide to tell Cassie a secret.
"Hey Cassie?".
"Yeah Vera?"
"Can you keep a secret? "
"Of course!"
"I'm insane"
"Huh?????"
"I keep hearing voices in my head, and I love killing people, I talk to the dead, I'm just insane."
"Um, I don't know how to respond to that, but you won't hurt any of us right?"
"Of course not! I'd never.....oh and by the way, he did ask me out on a date"
