Gamer Love: A GaLm X Reader Fanfic

Chapter One: Prologue

                                                            ~~~~~~~~~~GaLm's POV~~~~~~~~~~

"Get it through your head, Anthony! I'm done!" My girlfriend screamed at me. She's been jealous of one of my friends, who was also female. She always thought I was cheating on her with my friend, but I never did. "Sweetheart, I'd never cheat on you! You're my girlfriend, I'd never do that to you!" I tried explaining to her. Her response was a slap. "I'm not anymore!" She said, and walked out of the door, and out of my life. She left me, standing there, heartbroken. I held back the tears, not wanting to become a blubbering mess. I heard my Skype go off, and I went back to my room, and saw that Chilled wanted me to join a call.  I wiped a tear that leaked out away, and joined the call, putting on my headphones. "Hey, GaLm!" Chilled, Ze, Smarty, and Tom said. "Hey." I said, trying to hide my sadness. "You seem a bit down, GaLm. You alright?" Smarty asked, concern in his voice. "Y-Yea, I'm fine." I said, trying to sound convincing. "GaLm, what have I always said? You can't bullshit a bullshitter. Now, what's wrong?" Chilled asked. That's when I broke down. "M-My girlfriend l-left m-me." I stuttered out, in tears. "Seriously?" Ze and Tom asked. "That bitch!" Chilled said. "So sorry to hear that, GaLm." Smarty said. I wiped some tears away. "She thought I was cheating on her with my friend, but I never did!" I explained. "Did she let you explain?" Tom asked. "I tried to, but she slapped me in the face!" I said. "GaLm, you were too good for her anyway." Chilled said. After a few moments of silence, I had an idea. "Hey, guys. let's meet up in Connecticut! It's been awhile since we met up anyway." I said. "Yea, we should!" Chilled, Smarty, and Ze said. "YAY! FRIENDS!" Tom shouted, laughing. "Let's meet up on.....Thursday?" I asked. "In 2 days, sure!" Chilled said. "Sure!" Ze, Smarty, and Tom said. "That'll give us enough time to pack and get tickets, for those flying over to Connecticut." I said.

                                                        ~~~~~~~~~~Chilled's POV~~~~~~~~~~

After awhile, we talked and laughed about what we were going to do when we met up. "I'll be right back, guys. I gotta get something to drink." GaLm said, after a bit. "Alright." We all said, as GaLm got up, put down his headphones, and went out of his room. "Alright, guys. We gotta find GaLm a new girlfriend." I said. "Chilled, he just got his heart broken." Smarty said. "He was upset, didn't you see him?" I asked. "Yea, but-" Smarty started. "Smarty, we need GaLm to be happy, otherwise, he's going to get depressed, and we won't see him as much!" I said. Smarty sighed. "Fine! We'll help him find someone." Smarty said. "Well, what kind of person would be for GaLm?" Tom asked. "Well, he's a gamer, so we should find someone who's also a gamer. He loves Halo games, so that's another thing we have to look for...." I said. "Basically, someone who has some same interests as him?" Ze asked. "Yea." I said. After that, GaLm came back, his eyes kind of puffy. Nobody said anything about it, though.

                                                              ~~~~~~~~~~Ze's POV~~~~~~~~~~

After awhile, we played some Mario Kart, to lighten the mood. We had a lot of fun, we played and talked for hours. For once, there wasn't any salt, which surprised me, kind of. GaLm seemed kind of happy, but not fully happy. I'm sure if we find him someone new, he'll be his happy self again. Hopefully, Chilled's idea works, for once.

~Timeskip~

"Guys, I'm going to get some sleep...it's almost 5 in the morning, talk to you guy later." GaLm said, sleepily. "Yea, night guys, I'm getting some sleep too." Tom said. "Night." Chilled, Smarty, and I said, and they got out of the Skype call, and got offline. "Well, I'm heading off for some sleep, as well, night guys." Smarty said. "Night." Chilled and I said, and Smarty got offline. "So, you think that plan will work?" I asked. "I'm positive that it will!" Chilled said. "Well, we're going to be meeting up soon, should we tell them?" I asked. "They'll find out soon enough." Chilled said, with the smirk that drove me crazy.

                                                            ~~~~~~~~~~Smarty's POV~~~~~~~~~~

I feel really bad for GaLm....his girlfriend, or "Ex" I should now say, broke his heart....Hopefully, Chilled's plan worked. When I was about to fall asleep, I got a text. I checked my phone, and it was from Tom.

From Tom: Hey, John! ^-^ Can't wait for you guys to get to Connecticut on Thursday <3

I smiled, and texted him back.

To Tom: I can't wait, either. I'm so excited to hug and kiss you again! <3

After a few moments, I got a reply.

From Tom: Btw, should we tell them about...us?

I thought about this for a moment, and replied back.

To Tom: Yea, we probably should. But, only when Chilled and Ze come out, saying they're together. Chilled told me him and Ze were together, and they're waiting for the right time to say anything, lol

We texted for awhile, until Tom didn't reply. He must've fallen asleep. I put away my phone, and fell asleep.

                                                           ~~~~~~~~~~Tom's POV~~~~~~~~~~

Nobody knew about me and Smarty. We were keeping it a secret until Chilled and Ze said they were together. It's obvious that they are, but they're waiting for the perfect moment. I fell asleep after texting Smarty for a bit, and I eventually fell asleep, and had a dream about Smarty.

I was woken up by my ringtone. I answered my phone. "Hello?" I said, sleepily. "Hey, Tom!" Chilled said. "Oh, hey, Chilled. What is it?" I asked. "Just wanted you to know that you're probably going to get something in the mail." Chilled said. "Like what?" I asked. "Plane tickets! I got you your plane tickets!" Chilled said. "Wow, thanks, Chilled." I said, happy. We talked for a bit, then we hung up. I can't thank Chilled enough for helping me with the ticket.
