Chapter 1 {The girl in the crowd}

~Aisling's POV~

I glanced over my cousin Kate's shoulder while she tweeted pictures and videos of the HomeTown concert that just happened about 5-10 minutes ago.

All of a sudden she got a few notifications and an ear piercing scream flowed through my ears.

I looked around to see everyone looking towards us with looks of discust on their faces. I turn to Kate and she grabs my arms in a killer tight grip and screams again.

"OHMIGOD OHMIGOD OHMIGOD OHMIGOD" She jumped higher than I've ever seen someone jump.

"WHAT'S WRONG KATE?! BREATHE IN AND OUT. IN AND OUT" I comforted her

"Its Brendan and Dayl and and and like-"

"Whats wrong with them Kate?" She calmed down and looked me straight in the eyes.

"Brendan favorited my tweet and Dayl retweeted it!" She said
"WHAT OHMIGOD!" I shout.
"Let me see!"

I grabbed her phone and she was right, Brendan had favorited and Dayl retweeted a video of Dayl rapping, saying
"Im just an ordinary guy that got lucky"

Your not ordinary anymore son I couldn't help but think to myself.

~Dayl's POV~

"Im just an ordinary guy that got lucky" I retweeted.

If only I still was an ordinary guy.. I thought. I mean dont get me wrong I love what Im doing and I love being able to work woth the lads but I kinda miss being able to walk down the streets in my hometown without being screamed at and practically attacked by squealing fangirls. I love the fans too! I do! Its just sometimes they get a bit carried away and at the end of the day, they still dont realize that we are only lads, lads having fun while singing and dancing together.

I felt someone or something tapping my shoulder. I turned to see Cian standing there looking concerned.

"'Ye alright man? You seem really concentrated or something just staring at the wall.." he ended up saying.

"Oh yeah umm yeah I'm fine I just.. its just.. I was just caught up in my own thoughts thats all" I responded.

He walked over and sat on the bed beside me. I turned to look at him, he still doesn't look convinced.

"Dude..." he paused. "Are you sure youre okay? Look if this is about-"
"Dont say it!" I cut him off, feeling the tears threaten to spill. I looked down and squeezed my eyes shut to try and stop them but I failed.
"Sorry.." Cian finally spoke up. I looked up at him. He was looking down at his lap feeling bad for bringing it up.

"Its grand Ci, I need to try and get over it anyway." I pulled him into a bro hug.

"No Dayl!" He pulls out of my grip. "That girl in the audience you saw, you felt like you needed to know her! You felt like you loved her even though you dont know who she is! You thought she was beautiful too! Im almost certain she thought the same about you. I mean, look at you! Dayl, she was crying buckets and I mean buckets when you looked at her directly in the eyes while singing 'All of me' for God's sake!"
I looked up at him and I couldn't help but smile. He was right but there still was that one thing.

"But Ci I dont know the girl! I have no way of contacting her! What if I never see her again?" I started and I could feel the tears streaming down my face already.

This time it was Cian's turn to give me a bro hug.

After the tears stopped and I had calmed myself down a bit. I decided to get a shower and wash myself because my clothes were stuck to me with sweat and tears mixed together. But hey! At least the fans enjoyed our preformance tonight! Thats always the most important thing these days...
