"Rachel....." Mom said approaching her.

"Leave me alone." Rachel said weakly.

"Listen, I'm pretty sure you guys think you know the entire story, but you don't. Please, just here me out....." mom requests.

Rachel turns towards us giving mom permission to explain why we were put in a hellish situation.

"Long story short...."

"No! This what I mean!! You always only tell us half of the story! Mom, if you truly care, tell us every detail and every word. Not a summary!"

Rachel stomped off.

"Oh boy.... I am a terrible parent..." Mom says looking down in shame.

"Mom, no. You are the best! Rachel just needs some time to figure everything out, let it process through her mind. You really can't blame her, we have been put throught some scary situations in very little time." I say attempting to lighten up the mood.

Mom nods with a smile. "Thanks." She whispers. "I'm going to go help Aunt Kim with dinner." She says running inside.

I meant it when I said that everything feels like there never was any tension in the air with Mom here. Well, at least when Rachel isn't around....

Since the weather is absolutely beautiful even with a sky full of clouds, I decide to sit on the front porch. Every once in awhile, that crazy ass neighbor come outside. It feels like he just stands there and stares at me, but I refuse to look into his eyes, ever again. The hospital wasn't the most comfortable place to take a nap.

It had to be the twentieth time the neighbor came outside to study me. I was feeling uncomfortable. I decided to look over, hoping there was something else that caught his eye, but no. Our eyes met. He looked shocked, surprised to see me, like he had never seen anyone like me. After I pull myself from my shock, I run inside.

"Hey hun! Is everything okay?" Mom askes washing her hands at the kitchen sink.

"This stupid neighbor, " I say pointing with my thumb back at the door "is watching me. Super creepy.... haha" I say shaking it off.

"Aww I'm sorry sweets!! If you'd likd, I'll go sit with you so you are comfortable. It's such a beautiful day and no creep is gonna ruin it for my daughter! " Mom says linking my arm in hers and taking me outside.

We walk out side and take a moment to look at the red orange sun set and to breath the fresh air.

"You'll have to point out that neighbor if he comes out again....." Mom says looking around, reassuring our safety.

I here the neighbors screen door slam shut.

"Mom," I say patting her uper arm with the back of my hand. "There he is..." I say jerking my head in his direction.

Mom looks over and immediately her moods changes. I feel instantly as if the sun dropped and was replaced with a cloud.

Mom continues to stare in his direction. I am clueless.
"Mom, is everything o-" "Go inside, now." Mom demands.
