Almost a Cinderella Story

Ariana's POV

"OW!! PLEASE STOP!" I screamed as one of my step-sisters punched my jaw. "IF YOU WANT ME TO STOP THEN DON'T LET ME CATCH YOU TEXTING WHILE YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE CLEANING THE KITCHEN!" I quickly nodded my head and returned to scrubbing the floors. You could say my life is like Cinderella's. Except I'm never going to find my prince. My two step-sisters always get the guys. I don't know how but they do. They're evil and ugly. Oops. I just want to run away and be best friends with a nice, cute, little penguin who'd show me all their eskimo friends. "Oh, Ariana!" My evil step-mother sweetly called. Fake. "Yes?" I called back. I probably did something wrong... Again. "Come here!" another fake/sweet calling. I ran up the swirly stair case to get her room. "Tonight your sisters and I will be going to Regina's party. I need you to do everything on here," she said as I was given a list. Looks like I wasn't going to the party after all. I thought maybe I could meet someone tonight. One Direction was going to be there. I thought maybe, just maybe I could meet one of them and live happily ever after. Nope. Not gonna happen. POOPY! May my dreams be crushed forever and always!
