Ok so Hi, I'm your typical teenager you know I love music, hate school but theres something about me.. something even I didn't know until now. It's actually scary because you'd expect me to know things about myself, it is a bit odd I know but it's weird how good things never happen to me. I never get the guy I want or anything which is why I decide to stay to myself, most the girls in my class hate me also so it's not like i'm ignoring them purposely or anything but to be honest I would hate if I was popular because all the popular girls are bitches anyways.
Enough of this now. Let me tell you the undiscovered part of me.
A few months ago I turned 16 which was a pretty good feeling my thoughts were that i'm out of school soon and I can go college and a whole bunch of things but things changed pretty fast.
On the day of my birthday I went around in town avoiding the crowds going to one quiet area I know of, it's a old inn shop, no-one uses it anymore, only on the rare occasions people go to get fruit or vegetables there but other than that rare occasion it's quiet.
I started to go there after my mother passed away, it was hard but my father nor my not so "New" step-mother would never try to talk to me, so I found this place and I made a friend.
His name is dan, he's 25 and he works there for a living, I guess i'm the only regular person there and he's always happy to see me.
I went to see him and I walked into the shop and sat on my stool which is always ready for me, I grabbed a apple and put a 57p on the counter.
"Hey darling, how was your day at school? anything special happen?" he asked as he put the money into the till
I knew Dan would be hinting about my birthday, he's been going on about it for weeks now even though he knows I hate celebrating my birthday.
"It was alright" I say munching on the apple "I'm going to be getting one of my exam results soon but other than that nothing special" I play along pretending to be completly oblivious to the fact he's talking about my birthday.
"Oh come on sweetheart!" He pulls up his stool and sits in front of me "Don't be such a downer today! It's your birthday, now please for me smile" He uses his two index fingers and pulls on the corner of my mouth making a smile, I show my teeth and smile at him, this oddly makes him so happy. He grins and says "Look how about we order a pizza, close the store early and have a nice dinner, we're going to close soon anyways since it's almost 5.30" I jump up "WHAT?! Already?" I check my watch "God, i'm sorry Dan but dad wants me to have dinner with suzie (my step-mother) " He smiles still "Alright sweetheart have fun." As he begins to close up.
I can't believe Dan, have fun? With dad and suzie? God has he gone mad or something? I walk home and it begins to rain, I use my bag as a shelter and run home and I bump into someone "ugh" I hear a grunt as I carry on running.
