Looking at Drake hold our son I can't help but smile. If your wondering yes I said yes to Drake when he asked me to marry him...how could I not? He's perfect and the way he asked me was so romantic. I still remember every detail.
The wedding was put of the moment for me...but to him it was perfect and now that I think about it...it couldn't have been more perfect. The twinkling lights above us in the trees, the pack around us and of course Alpha Williams granted us with marrying us.
The wedding was perfect....the honey moon not so much. After we had mated and marked each other I was in so much pain I blacked out. I still don't know what happened but I know Drake was there through it all.
According to him I had shifted. And he knew I was a white wolf. He was confused so I told him everything. He was shocked but he took the news well. He was upset I hadn't told him sooner though he understood why I didn't.
Now here we are today. Me in the kitchen barefoot and pregnant yet again. I was due in a month and it was to be a bay girl. I was going to name her Kelsey Lynn Summers.
"Mommy!! When are the pancakes going be done?" Ryder said. He was 4 now and was extremely smart for his age. We were worried at first because I gave birth earlier than normal wolves but we learned that white wolves only carry their pups for 3 months instead of 6 months. I have no idea why. Something having to do with the powers and it being a danger to the pup so our wolf pumps more nutrients and stuff to give birth faster. I'm not exactly great with the details.
"Here ya go." I slide over his favorite, blueberry and chocolate chip pancakes with blueberry syrup.
"Ey mami where's my breakfast?" Drake said as he started kissing my neck as he wrapped his arms around my waist.
"If I remember correctly you already ate this morning" I said winking at him. And walking away to do the dishes.
"That's not fair!" He said
"Hey you going to eat that?" I heard Jayson say as I turn around I catch him trying to steal my baby's food.
"Jayson!" I shouted
"Rayne!" Jayson shouted back worried since I caught him.
"Drake" drake shouted. Me and Jayson look at him in question. "I felt left out" he said as he looked away.
"Jayson stop trying to take Ryder's food." I scolded him
"Sorry old habits die hard." Jayson said as his mate Luke walked in. And Jayson grabbed him and nuzzled his neck. Yes Jayson finally came out and told everyone. And to his surprised most of them already knew. It was really funny to see him shocked that everyone knew he was gay.
Ever since then things have been good. We still get the occasional rogue but other than that nothing really exciting goes on. I teach biology and anatomy at the local high school here in New York and I love it. And I teach a dance class on Saturdays.
"Come on Ryder we gotta get going. You have school and so do i" I said s he jumped up and grabbed his TMNT backpack and ran to the car. Kissing Drake goodbye I got in and started my day.
I can't wait til the day Ryder meets his mate...I bet it will be magical.
