Callum's POV:
I didn't expect to be shipped off to some place that deals with "elements" what's that even supposed to mean? Dealing with elements? Maybe my dad is just going crazy and I'm going to my grandmothers.
"Dad seriously, where are we going?" I ask.
"Callum I already told you." My dad replies.
"Uh, I forgot."
Truth is, I didn't forget. I know the name of the place, I just don't know what it is.
"The Magisterium Callum, we're going to the Magisterium."
"What exactly is the Magisterium, dad?"
"Son, some questions are better left unanswered."
My dad and I sat in silence for what seemed like hours. I didn't even know where we were. Just as I was about to ask my dad where we were, the car stopped.
"We're here, get out of the car." My dad says.
"Just like that? You're not going to walk me in? Show me around?" I ask.
"Callum I'm not allowed in... please, just get out of the car."
"But dad..."
"GET OUT!" My dad yells.
"When will I get to see you again?" I ask quietly.
"That's a decision you will have to make later on Callum, now please... just get out of the car." My dad whispers.
So I do, I get out of the car and watch my dad drive away. Some dad he is, huh? It's bad enough he can't tell me how my mom died. The Magisterium can't be that bad, can it?
