chapter one: this is going to be awesome

"Do you understand?" Mum said with a smile plastered on her face.

I nodded my head slowly as my eyelids drooped. After all these years, I was getting real tired of homeschooling. It's been really boring to see mum's face every single day, 24/7. I widened my eyes and asked, "Mum, can I apply to go for college? Like a real one."

She stopped and stared at me. She hesitated for a moment and gulped. Tears were welling up in her eyes. She coughed and replied with a shaky voice, "Well... I expected this day to come..." she wiped away a tear and continued, "Yes. I think you should be exposed to the world instead of staying at home all day long." And she smiled. "I've already considered a school for you because I was very sure that you wanted to go to a real college to study."

She stood up and walked to the study room. She walked out with her laptop in her hands. She put it infront of me. She open a tab with a picture of a grand looking school.

"Lakewood College", I muttered under my breath as colours filled the screen.

"I'll help you apply for this school tonight," she said and brought the computer back to the study room.

This is going to be awesome, I thought with a smile.
