It was the next week and I had just finished my first exam ... and I could not be any more tired than I am right now. Exams are so exhausting but anyway, I was in the passenger seat of Bethany's car as the two of us were gonna go on a girls day out at the mall.
"Did you hear the rumor?" Bethany asks, as we enter the mall. I look at her, wondering what she's talking about.
"What rumor?"
"Apparently Justin's cheating on you with Selena."
I stop walking and grab onto Bethany's arm. "What?" I whisper and she pulls out her phone. I watch as she goes on to Twitter and finds the article that contained this rumor ... and of course, the article was on Perez Hilton's blog. My eyes scanned the article quickly and then I closed my eyes, taking in deep breaths, but even with my eyes closed, I could still see the title.
Did Justin Bieber, the prince of pop, really cheat on his girlfriend with Selena Gomez?
"This can't be happening," I say, my breathing uneven, and Bethany wraps me in a giant hug, not letting go until she knows I've calmed down.
"Swizzler, I'm a hundred percent sure that Justin didn't cheat on you with Selena. He hates her and he loves you," she tells me and I take a few deep breaths of oxygen.
"You're right," I say and Bethany smiles - she LOVES it when she's right. "I don't know why I'm believing Perez Hilton! Of all people, I'm believing Perez Hilton! He's a celebrity blogger, he knows next to nothing about me, Justin and Selena."
"Good," Bethany says and nods her head. "Now, let's go! I can hear TopShop calling my name," she laughs and I smile, linking arms with her and we start to walk in the direction of one of our favourite stores. As we walk, we talk about what we wanna do during the same and what we're going to wear to the One Direction and Justin Bieber concerts. "I really think I should wear something that makes Zayn fall in love with me again," Bethany giggles, smiling as she does her weird little happy dance.
"Yeah too bad he's already dating Perrie. You know, from Little Mix? We met her at my birthday party and you swore up and down that you were done with the thing you and Zayn had," I laugh and Bethany blushes.
"Yeah well he's too attractive I can't help but be in love with him," Beth says and we laugh as we walk into TopShop, heading straight towards the racks and racks of summer dresses that were near the front of the store. Bethany hands me dress after dress, sometimes replacing one dress with a cuter one that she thinks would suit me better. I ask her why she hadn't picked any out for herself, and she gives me this answer that I should've known already. "Every time I come here by myself," she says as we move through the store, handing me different articles of clothing, "I always find stuff and ask them to put the clothing on hold. Genius? I know I am."
"Bethany!" I laugh and she just does a curtsey, making me laugh even more. "Come on, I need to go try all this stuff on," I say and drag her towards the change room. I go into an empty one and Bethany groans, sitting on a chair outside of the changing room area.
"You better put nice outfits together!"

"Payton, there's another rumor," Bethany says and hands me her phone, the tweets in the trending topic going on and on as I scroll down to find out what's going on. Soon enough, I find an "article" and feel like screaming when I see the title.
"Are Justin Bieber and Payton Swift over for good? Have they found new loves?" I say out loud as my eyes look over the "article" on the screen in front of me. "According to our sources, Payton and Justin broke up after having a huge argument over Justin's recent spottings with Disney starlet, Selena Gomez. They split and then days later, the two were spot out with different partners - Justin walking with Selena and his crew, Payton was spotted with the one and only ... Austin Mahone. Weren't Payton and Justin in love just yesterday?" I finish reading the opening paragraph and the overwhelming urge to tear my hair out washes over me.
"Don't you dare think of tearing your hair out!" Bethany exclaims and I look at her, the expression on my face asking how she knew what I wanted to do.
"I just want the rumors to stop," I mutter and sit down on a chair in the Starbucks located in the mall.
Will the rumors ever stop?

I've had a tough two/three weeks but I've made it through and you guys are the ones that got me through it. I'm really sorry if this wasn't what you expected for the chapter, I'm basically writing through writer's block & I'm surprised that I got to write this whole chapter without being interrupted sigh life is beautiful right now.
