Since I've got a fondness for J.K. Rowling's magical Harry Potter book series, I kind of sort of felt like writing a cute short story/one-shot about Leonetta that takes place in the same universe as Harry Potter (with different characters, of course). Because I love Leonetta and I love Hogwarts and Leonetta in Hogwarts is just too tempting.

I had a lot of fun writing this, and I hope you'll have fun reading!

!By the way! The title doesn't really have anything to do with this one-shot, I just thought it'd be clever to use because, like, Amortentia is the love potion, and this is about two people falling in love, so yeah...

Enjoy!

On her way to her next class of the day, which was DADA by Professor Galindo, Violetta Castillo buried her face into Compendium of Common Curses and their Counter-Actions, eagerly revising last lesson's teaching material. Looking up from Chapter Nine to re-adjust her thick dark brown eyeglasses that were resting on her nose, she noticed how stiff her neck felt, as she had her chin pulled in straight for an hour of reading her school book.

OWL's were right around the corner - well, Violetta's definition of 'right around the corner' - and just like for all of her exams, she started her studying a month earlier than it was needful, starting off with Defence Against the Dark Arts, which was one of her favorite subjects. Every single one of the classes she took was her favorite, since she loved education and working hard for what she wanted to achieve.
There was one exception; she did not like Potions by Professor Casal, whom she thought was the moodiest and most disrespectful teacher of all. She would occasionally wonder how he had been permitted to be teaching at Hogwarts. Professor Casal was the reason she dreaded that class every single time she stepped foot into his classroom.

Eyes still focused on chapter ten now, she took a seat next to her friend and roommate Francesca Cauviglia, who was a Gryffindor, just like her. They exchanged brief 'Hello's before Violetta went back to reading her book, flipping another page and wanting to finish that chapter before class started. Francesca shook her head, her ebony straight her falling onto her shoulders, smiling at the sight of the bookworm Violetta in a "Oh,-when-will-this-girl-ever-take-a-break?" kind of way.

Professor Galindo began his lesson with a quiz about curses they had learned about in the week before, which made the entire classroom groan in exasperation. Violetta believed she was the only one that was actually prepared for the test.
Just as she dipped the tip of her quill into the dark ink to start writing down the answers to the questions on the piece of parchment Professor Galindo had handed out, the opening of the door was heard, followed by quick, audible footsteps. She turned her head to the left, her neck still cramped, and got a look of the newcomer.

In rushed a brown-haired boy, wearing a black and green colored cloak - obviously a Slytherin.
But even if he wasn't wearing those colors, Violetta would have known in which house he belonged to nevertheless, for she knew this boy all too well.

Leon Vargas. All unruly dark chocolate locks, alluring hazel-green eyes that resemble verdurous fields, wrinkled cloak seeming like he hadn't made the effort to straighten it out, and that goddamn dimple of his, protruding in his right cheek.

Here's the story; Violetta had had a major puppy-crush on Leon back then. The second she saw him step up to The Sorting Hat after Professor LaFontaine had called out his name, and The Hat had declared him for a Slytherin, and Leon - way shorter and baby-facier at that time - showed off a relieved million-dollar-grin, before joining the others at the table full of jubilant Slytherins, Violetta felt drawn towards his flirty smiles and his popularity from then on.
