Haunted House in the Woods

Chapter 1

Hi! This is my first gravity falls fan fic so I wouldn't expect it to be awesome or amazing. It may just be...good. On with the story! :)

"Dipper, do you know where you're going?" Dipper and Mabel were walking through the woods. They wanted to get out instead of being bored and doing nothing. "Well, we're not really going anywhere. I guess we're just wandering."

They had been walking for about 45 minutes. Mabel didn't feel safe. She had this weird and creepy feeling that they were being watched. "Hey, Dipper," Dipper stopped walking and turned to face Mabel. "These woods are giving me the creeps. It feels like we're being watched." Dipper started walking again. "Maybe you're just being paranoid." Mabel started looking all around her. "Maybe..."

They walked for another 10 minutes. "Dipper, are we lost?" Dipper knew the woods were starting to creep Mabel out. They were lost and he didn't want to make Mabel feel worse than she already was. "No...I don't know. Maybe?" "Dipper, can we just turn around and head back to the shack?" Dipper gulped. "I-I don't remember where we came from..."

Mabel's stomach turned and her heart skipped a beat. On the inside she was panicking. They stopped walking and Mabel sat down on a log. "Oh no." Dipper spotted a house. It was a big house but it wasn't a mansion. "Mabel, there's a house over there! Maybe we can get help or directions from the people who live there!" Mabel sat up and smiled. "Ok! Lets go!"

When they got to the house Dipper knocked on the door but got no response. "Dipper, no one probably even li-" The door opened slowly making a creaking sound. They waited a few seconds for someone to appear in the doorway but no one did. They slowly walked foward into the house. "Hello?! Is anyone home?!" Dipper sighed. After they got no response they were about to walk out of the house when the door suddenly slammed itself. Dipper and Mabel's eyes widened and they just stood there in shock. Dipper bit his lip. "Uh oh."
