a little over a month has passed since your date with seokjin and taehyung, and your relationship with your roommates has grown.
saturday mornings turned into little dance sessions with hoseok in the living room whenever it was your turn to clean. some nights became more chaotic than productive, because cooking with seokjin and jungkook usually involved being lifted onto the counter, getting hugged from behind or eating half the ingredients instead of putting them into the food.
you weren't even sure when it began. sunday evenings slowly became your time for deep, meaningful conversations with yoongi and namjoon out in the yard. you often found yourself in taehyung's arms, dozing off on the couch after long days of lectures or photoshoots. and you somehow got into the habit of studying at the dining table, as jimin worked nearby—sitting with him made going through your work easier.
it felt natural, the way your routines began to weave into theirs, as if you had always belonged in the rhythm of their home.
you no longer felt overwhelmed with the pace of your relationship, and you knew exactly what you felt for them. you didn't just like the men you lived with, you loved them.
you hadn't told them yet, but you were sure they knew. and thanks to your best friend, you believed they loved you too.
it was friday night, and instead of making dinner with one of the guys, you were at navi's place.
"so when are we making things with y/n official?" taehyung asked, leaning back into the chair with arms crossed. everyone was sitting at the dining table. it was about time they discussed this, and with you being away, this was the perfect opportunity.
seokjin rested his forearms on the table, fingers laced together. "it's been a while since she went out with tae and me. we've been dancing around this for weeks. i think it's time."
namjoon nodded gently. "she already fits into our lives. we treat her like she's ours, and she treats us the same way. we can't keep acting like boyfriends and girlfriend without making things official," he paused.
"labels won't change much, but they'll give her clarity and security."
"yeah, y/n deserves that," yoongi added from where he sat with a cup of tea.
jimin leaned forward, chin resting in his hand. "we're all on the same page, right? because this only works if everyone is comfortable."
jungkook hummed in response, while hoseok didn't answer at first. he toyed with the corner of a notebook left on the table, eyes softening at the thought of you. "you know, i was actually really scared in the beginning, but not anymore. she makes everything feel easy."
a quiet warmth settled over the table. the guys knew all felt the same way about you, but they had never said it aloud together.
jungkook tapped the table fingers. "okay, but how do we even ask someone to be in a relationship with seven people? that's like... a group proposal."
"this isn't a marriage proposal," seokjin snorted.
"still feel big," jungkook mumbled.
"jungkook's right, though," namjoon sighed. "how do we ask her and when?"
"when? tomorrow," yoongi shrugged. "the sooner the better. how? no flipping clue."
"yeah. tomorrow, when y/n's back, works," seokjin nodded. "we can discuss the 'how' tonight."
jimin glanced around the table. "so we're really doing this?" it was hard to believe your relationship was getting this far.
just a few months ago, you were the slightly awkward, timid girl who had just moved in, but now, you were going to become their girlfriend. you became someone so special to the guys, and they couldn't imagine life without you.
yoongi smiled at jimin's question. "yeah. we're really doing this."
"good. because i'm tired of pretending we aren't all hopelessly gone for y/n."

while the boys planned, you were curled up on navi's couch, a bowl of popcorn balanced on your lap as you complained about your week.
you were coming to the end of student life, but you weren't sure you'd make it to graduation next year. your final exams were approaching, but you were drowning in schoolwork.
you decided to stop modelling for a bit last week so you could focus solely on school. you started to love modelling, so you were a bit sad to put it on hold. secretary cho completely understood and wished you all the best, and seokjin said you could always go back into it once things calmed down for you.
"hey, your week may have sucked, but you don't look like you're going through it. in fact, you're glowing," navi teased, narrowing her eyes.
"i'm not glowing," you muttered, but the blush creeping up was betraying you.
your best friend scoffed. "oh, please. you look like someone who's getting dicked down at least twice a week."
you threw a piece of popcorn at her, and she cackled. "you're in love," she said softly when she calmed down.
"i'm painfully aware," you sighed. you realised your feelings for the men at home a while ago. you loved them before you even went out with taehyung and seokjin.
"and they're in love with you, too," navi said. "the few times i've seen them look and interact with you when i came over made it very clear."
you didn't need navi to tell you those guys felt the same. you knew.
you felt it in the way jimin always waited up for you when you were studying late. he'd pretend he was still busy just to keep you company, even though you knew he was done working.
in the way yoongi kissed the top of your head every time he walked past you, even if he had no reason to. and how seokjin would gently adjust your posture when you studied too long, murmuring reminders to relax your shoulders.
in the way seokjin cooked your favourite meals without you even asking, and how hoseok would quietly place a blanket over you when you dozed off on the couch.
in the way taehyung clung to you, but held you like you were the most precious thing in the world. and how simply how jungkook looked at you as he watched you dance around the kitchen.
"so... do you have any idea when they're going to officially ask you out?" she asked, and you shook your head. "they should've done it weeks ago."
"no clue, but i'm really not in a rush. sure, being labelled their girlfriend would be nice, but i'm okay with where we are at the moment."
