My name is Cameron, today is the last day of freshman year. I'm fifteen and when I was six my dad walked out on me and my mom. We haven't heard of or from him since.
I usually get bullied because I'm smart and I play a lot of video games. I'm not really sure why but I seem to be an easy target. Now, enough about me, let's get to the story.
The bell rang so I went to my locker to grab my controller and my coat as well as other things. When I finished gathering my things I left my locker and headed out of the school.
I was almost down the stairs when I was pushed up against the wall. It was James, the school bully. He liked to pick on me all the time.
One thing he doesn't know, and that I don't like to talk about is that my mom is dying from Cancer. But he doesn't seem to care.
It really isn't a big problem, but I'm late for my games and dinner with my mom.
After James told me he will see me around like every other year he let go of me. I hurried out of the school to the lawn.
I ran to my bike and put my controller in the bag on my bike. I rode home in a hurry as usual. And like every other day mom was asking where I was.
"Dinner is in an hour!" She said, somewhat annoyed at my usual tardiness.
"I'm sorry" I said.
She nodded and I ran up to my room to turn on my Xbox. I grabbed my headset and sat down in my chair. I connected with my friends online and started playing black ops two.
