Just a small town girl

Back on my feet

The moon light shines in my eyes as a look around and all I see is trees,
The sound of a branch snaps behind me, I jump and turn around fast seeing nothing I turn around and start running

Ive been running for twenty minutes now and the forest never seems to end, I trip over a large branch hitting my head off the ground hard I sit up and see a a black shadow standing right in front of me, I look down and rub my eyes and as soon as I look up its gone I stand up and start running again and I see a plane I cover my mouth "no..no..it can't be" I tear runs down my face I walk over to it and hear banging I enter the plane and everything goes black.

I open my eyes and look around I'm in my bed but I still hear banging I get out of bed and put my slippers on and walk out of my room and down the hall into the kitchen and there's Colton banging pans together "what are you doing its seven thirty in the morning he looks to me and puts the pans down "mom and dad always woke early to get a good start of the day and grandma said that we should wake up early just like they did" he smiles, I roll my eyes and walk away I understand that mom and dad would always get up early but that was to work with horses and stuff like that. I walk in my room and sit on my bed and check my phone and scroll through all my notifications and I see a text message from Rose saying to meet her at our Fort at 8:30 am.

I look through my closet and try to figure out what to wear so I just grab a white tank top and change into that and I just found a pair of jean shorts laying on the floor so I pick them up and smell them "smells clean" so I put those on, I walk out of my bedroom and grab a apple of the counter and I head giggling from a distance and I look behind me and Coltan's on the couch laughing at vines "I'm sure if grandma was inside she would tell you to get off that" I say with sass, he looks up at me and roles his eyes
I walk over to the door and grab my cow girl boots and put them on than look at the time and see I on,y have five minutes to get there and it takes fifteen minutes to get there, I run out the door and see grandma grooming the horses in the barn so I run into coppers stall and start to tack him up  "hey grams I'm just going to the fort to meet Rose there" I say grandma stopes what she's doing "really do you still remember how to ride a horse... It's been so long" she says. I laugh "its in only been two weeks..but I got to go sorry grams" I hop on copper and gallop away
