Kyky's POV
"KYKY! Wake up! Something's happened!!" I hear my friend Avery say while being shaken awake. My eyes see a blurred figured of the girl. She was very pale, had very very long purple hair and purple eyes. She was an ender person. "KYLIE!!" Mikaela yells from the other side of the room. I groan. "What, what's happening?!" I manage to say while attempting to sit up. Avery and Mikalea had frantic looks on there faces while they told me that one of the heroes, Sonja, had gone missing. "What!! Sonja is missing?! Where did she venture off to?! Surely someone knows where she is!" I say hoping it's a prank. Avery sits down on my bed next to me. "Well Tucker said that she went off on a boat and would be back in an hour and it's been about 6!" She said. I start sweating. This shouldn't happen. Everyone has the capable magic to locate her at least! Something is very fishy. I jolt up and leave the room. "I'll be back!" I announce.
The wind blows hard by the dock. The water is rough and it seems like a storm is coming. Sonja wouldn't be able to hold up in a storm, sure she is a hero, but I don't know if she can make it. I walk around to see if anyone is here to tell me what's going on. Suddenly I see a figure at the end of the dock. I start slowly walking towards the shape which seemed like a boy my age, a bit taller. As I neared, I realized it was the Prince. To my surprise he sprouted purple wings. "Prince Andor!" I say, bowing. "Hello m'lady, have you heard of the heroes disappearance? I'm worried for her. This is surely bad!" He says in a calm, yet panicked at the same time voice. "I have heard! I want to know what's going on? Why hasn't anyone been able to locate her?" I said, but as soon as Andor looked into my eyes I saw something. The flame of fear that flickered in his iris began to subside. Then a sparkle, almost a glow came from his eyes. And he must've noticed that sparkle in me to because when I looked away, he didn't. I felt something so strange and different in my chest in that moment. Maybe even something as wild as love.
