In the small town of Livingstone lived a 19 year old boy named Ace.
Ace had a secret hidden from his parents. He had a life of crime. He was a bandit. He enjoyed the thrill of running from the law, life on the lamb was like a dream come true. All the money in the world, all the people he could kill and all the freedom of a bird.
One day Ace met a woman during one of his shake downs on unsuspecting carriages coming through his forest. It was like any other shake down but with a fairly richer couple. He raised his guns and killed driver of the carriage, he walked over to the people inside, he demanded they got out. They got out the carriage and stood before him in a line "Gimmie everything you got" he said "Wallet, ear rings, money and all that" he pointed his gun at him and signalled to them to put them in his bag. "C'mon you fat pig, put it in" he said to the man.
The man looked at him in anger before putting his pocket watch in the bag. Ace walked over to the lady "C'mon now pretty lady, in the bag it goes" he lady put her ring in the bag. Ace stood back before bidding them farewell "Now do have a good trip pretty lady" "WHO ARE YOU CALLING PRETTY?!" Yelled a lady riding up on a horse "It's about time you showed up" said Ace the mysterious lady rode over to Ace "Well where's my cut?" said the lady on the horse. "Here." said Ace, grabbing the ring from the bag How this is pretty, how does it look?" he said shifting on one foot, "Beautiful, Rose" said Ace as he hopped on his horse and rode away with Rose into the forest.
As they rode into the forest "Hey do you feel weird?" Asked Ace "What do you mean? Was it that girl? DO YOU LIKE HER!" she replied angrily "Whoa it's not like that, I just feel strange, and something feels off" "You're an idiot" she said.
They rode for a while bright flames spewed at them. "Shit lookout" he said jumping off his horse towards Rose. There was a large thump as they hit the hard rocky ground. Rose stood up "WHATS THE BIG IDEA?! DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM!? IM THE FEARED ROSE !" she said angrily. Ace stood up with his gun ready "Who are you?" he said.
"Me oh I'm no one special im just a chimera" said the mysterious figure "chimera huh? I know how to deal with your kind" said Ace "One to the head?" questioned Rose "No" says Ace grabbing his knife "It's a little more subtle." Ace replied "Well im waiting" replied chimera. Ace stood there waiting for chimera to attack but she just stood there waiting "Well? Aren't you going to fight me?" said the chimera "Yeah I'll kick your ass!" said Rose as she started to attack chimera.
The Chimera yawned whilst blocking her attacks. "Well it's been fun" said chimera "but I really should be going" "OVER MY DEAD BODY!" yelled Rose chimera, yawned again and slapped Rose on the back transferring a mark making Rose paralysed "ahh! WHY THR FUCK CANT I MOVE" chimera put her hand on Rose's shoulder. "NO!" yelled Ace as he dove to the pair. He managed to touch chimera just as they teleported away. And like that they disappeared.
"Rose!" yelled Ace as he woke up. He found it hard to stand up "What the hell? Where am I?" he said as he walked down the dark alley way "Why do I feel so weird? Was it all a dream and where's Rose?" He walked out the alleyway to find a strange city "where am I? It can't have been a dream........" he walked down the street to find people "Where am I?" Asked Ace "Huh? You don't know where you are? Why this the great city Blackview, the most technologically advanced city of 1918."
