When he decided to answer we all looked very desperate. He said "I killed them because they knew to much and they left you when you were 2 and came back to you when you were 4. They all gave me to you to look after. I killed them to keep you safe, I looked after you for 2 years and fell in love with you all and didn't want to leave you.
