"Melanie wake up!" Blair said hitting me one final time with the pillow. I groaned and sat up and turned my head and opened my eyes. "You're gonna be late for your first day back at Constance." "Would that be bad?" I said and tilted my head. "Considering mom had a long talk with dad about bringing you back then yes " I rolled my eyes and got out of bed and walked over to my bathroom slamming the door shut.

I towel blotted my hair after getting dressed and walked downstairs with my hair still being damp from my thorough shower. Blair sniffed as I sat at the table. "Oh I know you aren't wearing some cheap perfume you got at the thrift store in Indiana." I rolled my eyes the second time today and got up from the table. "Can we just go." I said not wanting to sit at the table talking about my trip from indiana. I entered the elevator and walked downstairs to the limo and Blair followed. "Did you eat something Melanie." I didnt answer her and continued to look out the window. "I had a croissant before we left." I said as the limo drove off the Constance.

I got out of the car and sighed. "Back at hell." "Oh its not that bad you're being a bit overly dramatic dont you think?" Blair said. I got her a look. "You are the queen of overly dramatic." I walked up the stairs with all eyes on me. I pretended not to hear the whispering about me coming back only to bump into the womanizer himself. Chuck Bass.

"Well this is just what Constance needs, another Waldorf." He said with that same smirk on his face. I glared and crossed my arms. "Nice to see you too Chuck." "You know I'm only kidding Mel. In fact, why don't we celebrate you coming back? Just me and you and my bed." Chuck said pulling me closer by the waist and kissing down my neck. I pushed him off "As if I would be stupid enough to even go up to your suite." "Oh please don't act like you weren't madly in love with me before you left." I looked at him and pushed him to the side. "Chuck I'm not the same person I was when I left." Chuck leaned again the railing. "Look I just want to talk. Meet me in my suite tonight so we can talk." "Ok, ok just stop breathing down my neck." Melanie said giving him a face and walked up the stairs. Melanie went to her locker, got her books, and went to her class.

It was now lunch time and I was sitting with Serena and Blair. "So why were you talking to Chuck this morning?" Serena asked and tilted her head and Blair looked up from her phone. I picked at my salad and bit the inside of my cheek. "Nothing just ... Catching up." I said with a smile and shoved the lettuce in my mouth and smiled at them slowly chewing. "Mel we are best friends you can tell me." Serena said and I looked at her and sighed. I swallowed my lettuce and put the fork down "We're just friends!" Serena held her hands up in surrender and Blair rolled her eyes "Oh for pete sake we heard you talking to him this morning about meeting up. Just be careful Chuck never wants to just talk." Blair said with a little chuckle and got up. They left me alone at the table and I said and looked at my salad before putting a hand on my head.

School was over and I had made my way over to Bart Bass' hotel where Chuck stayed. Since the doorman remembered me he let me up. I bit my lip as the doors finally opened to his suite and sure enough he was standing right in front of the elevators. "Someone seems a bit eager for my arrival." I said with a smirk and walked over to the couch. "You can give up the act Princess. It's just me and you." I sighed and stayed quiet. "You don't know how much I have missed you. Your eyes, your lips, your skin, your body." Chuck said as he got closer. Chuck kissed her lips softly and Melanie pulled away. "I have no idea what you are talking about." "Why are you acting like you don't remember that night Mel, you scared Blair's gonna find out and spill to gossip girl?" "Because I am trying to forget Charles. I'm not that girl anymore I'm not the girl that would always come upstairs with you after every party or soiree. I thought I made that clear, that night was the last time." I said and looked at him. He clenched his jaw. He knew that I loved it and he constantly did it. He knew it drove me crazy but that's what he loved to do, he loved to drive me crazy. I got up and walked out of his suite and sighed as the elevator doors closed.
