Pure was the first to notice the green walls. And then the green floor and the giant window. She froze, half the pizza in her mouth. She quickly swallowed, "Uh...guys..." The three men glanced at her then froze, now noticing the change in scenery.
"Where the hell are we?" Chilled asked, stepping closer to Pure.
"I have no idea..." Pewds said.
Mark seemed to understand first, "We're in Five Nights at Freddy's 3..."
"But that game isn't out yet!" Felix said, tthrowing one arm up in exasperation.
"Apparently the ruled are different when we're not in the real world!!" Mark yelled, making Pure flinch slightly.
"Calm down you two. We need to try and figure out the controls." Pure stated. Both men nodded and started looking around. Pure and Anthony wandered to the side where a box was resting on the wall. They exchanged glances, then Anthony pulled it out. It lead to a screen that had things that said the status of the Ventilation, Camera feed, and audio.
"This is strange." Chilled says, looking at it.
"Agreed." Pure said, shaking her head. "How are your arms? From holding the music box lever?"
He laughed slightly and leaned against the wall, "They're a little sore, but I can still do things." He thought for a moment, "Did you and Felix make it through all right?"
Pure nodded, "Yeah...there wasn't too many incidents." She grabs one if his hands, running her fingers up and down his arm. "Does this help the soreness at all?"
Chilled swallowed roughly, face turning red, "Yeah, a little bit." He moved his arm so it was around her waist, pulling her into a hug. She hugged back, a little surprised by the sudden gesture. Pure placed her head against Chilled's shoulder and sighed, enjoying the embrace. She hasn't slept in what felt like a long time and was exhausted.
She was startled to full awareness when Mark kicked a box of old parts that was sitting near the door. She looked over at him, but he didn't look at her. She shrugged and glances at Felix, who was figuring out the camera. They were all startled by a phone call.
"Hey-Hey! Glad you came back for another night! I promise it'll be a lot more interesting this time. We found some great new relics over the weekend. And we're out tracking down a new lead, right now. So-uh lemme just update real quick, then you can get to work. Like, the attraction opens in like, a week, so we had to make sure everything works, and nothing catches on fire!" The first thing that caught The four adults attention was that it wasn't the same voice from the other calls.
"Uh-when the place opens, people will come in at the opposite end of the building, and work their way towards you, then past you and out the exit. Uh-yeah. You've officially become a part of the attraction. Uh-You'll be starring as... The security guard! So not only will you be monitoring the people on the cameras as they pass through, y'know, to make sure no one steals anything or makes out in the corner, but you'll also be a part of the show. It'll make it feel really authentic I think." Mark wanted to roll his eyes at that comment. He'd never go to an attraction like this after all this he's been through.
"Uh... Now let me tell you about what's new. We found another set of drawings, always nice, and a Foxy head! Which we think to be authentic... then again it might just be another crappy cosplay, and we found a desk fan, very old school - metal, though, so watch the fingers. Uh-heh... Uh... Right now the place is basically just, you know, flashing lights, spooky props. Uh, I honestly thought we would have more by now, uh, we don't have something really cool by next week, we may have to suit you up in a furry suit, and make you walk around saying, "Boo"... hehe, uh... But, you know, like I said, we're trying to track down a good lead right now."
"I don't understand what's going on." Chilled said, more than a little confused. He knew this place looked creepy and deserted, but he wasn't sure of the time period or where they were at.
"Of course you don't." Mark mumbled, making Anthony make a face. He wasn't sure where that attitude was coming from.
"Uh, some guy who helped design one of the buildings says there was, like, an extra room that got boarded up or- uh, something like that. So, we're gonna take a peek and see what we can find. Uh, for now just get comfortable with the new setup, um... You can check the security cameras over to your right with a click of that blue button. Uh, you can toggle between the hall cams and the vent cams... Uh, then over to your far left, uh, you can flip up your maintenance panel. Y'know, use this to reboot any systems that may go offline."
Chilled and Pure glanced at the panel curiously, happy to know what it was for. However, it also made Pure a little worried.
"Heh. So, in trying to make the place feel vintage we may have overdone it a bit, hehe... Some of this equipment is barely functional. Yeah, I wasn't joking about the fire. Tha-tha-that's a real risk. Uh, the most important thing you want to watch for is the ventilation. Look, this place will give you the spooks, man, and if you let that ventilation go offline, then you'll start seeing some crazy stuff, man. Keep that air flowin'. Okay, keep an eye on things, and we'll try to have something new for ya tomorrow night."
Well, now Pure was a little worried. IIf ventilation has trouble often, her lungs are going to be a huge problem. The others knew that too, because they were all looking at her. She blushed under their gaze and shrugged. "I'll be fine." She claimed.
"We don't know that." Mark snapped. Pure flinched and looked down.
"It can't be all that bad." Chilled said, trying to cheer Pure up a bit. He looked up to see Mark glaring at him. He just sighed and stood. "Anyway...I guess let's get use to the camera and control panel."
