HEY GUYS!! Okay the Guy on the side is DAKOTA GOYO and i think he is just perfect to play Ethan in this.... Hope you enjoy the picture!!

Before long it was the weekend.

I awoke early Sunday morning to find Tom rushing around the house finding all of his rugby kit.

I ran into the bathroom for a quick shower before changing into my blue Palm Canyon shorts and a black vest top.

I ran down stairs and poured myself a bowl of cereal and sat down to eat it, checking my phone whilst I ate.

To: Gemma

From: Emma

Can I come to yours and get a lift to the rugby club?

To: Emma

From: Gemma

Sure, come round in half an hour!

I smiled, dumping my empty bowl in the sink as I dashed back upstairs to tidy my room.

When the doorbell rang, I let Emma in before pulling on a pair of white canvas Nike’s and a pale turquoise cardigan, tucking my phone into my pocket as I followed everyone out into the car.

My mum dropped me, Emma and Tom off, telling us to ring her when the game was over, before she drove off.

‘We’ll be over there,’ I said to Tom as he started to walk to the changing rooms.

‘Okay,’ was his reply.

‘I can’t wait to watch this game! We are so gonna win,’ Emma said and I chuckled at her enthusiasm, but wondered how she could have this much energy at this time in the morning.

We sat chatting for about 10 minutes when I heard someone clear their throat behind me.

I turned to find Tom and Ethan standing a few feet away, already in their rugby kit.

‘Hey,’ Emma said, coming around to stand by me when she realised who was there.

‘Hey,’ Ethan said, smiling slightly, shoving his hands into his pockets.

‘Um, can I talk to you, Gemma?’ Ethan continued nervously, kicking the floor with the toe of his trainers.

‘Sure,’ I said, smiling.

‘What’s up?’ Emma said.

‘Alone?’ he muttered.

‘Okay, I’ll just – um – stand here and talk to Tom,’ Emma said, putting her arm jokily over his shoulders.

I followed Ethan a few steps away, out of Emma and Tom’s hearing, before facing him expectantly.

‘I – er… I don’t really know how to say this,’ he muttered, looking at me hesitantly. I smiles encouragingly to show that I didn’t mind.

‘Will you go out with me?’ he rushed and I blinked a few times. Did I hear that right? I mean, I knew he liked me, but I thought it was just as a friend, not like this.

‘Err… okay,’ I muttered, ‘Sure, why not,’ I smiled at Ethan, whose face lit up as he took my hand and led me back to Tom and Emma.

Emma kept glancing at our hands but when I caught her eye I gave a slight shake of my head, the signal for ‘don’t even dare mention it’.

She nodded but gave me a look that promised some intense questioning when the game started.

After a few minutes the boys were called for the start of the game.

Ethan reluctantly let go of my hand and gave me a quick kiss on the cheek before walking out onto the pitch.

‘Okay. Exactly what is going on?’ Emma demanded, ‘you walk away, suddenly go all smiley, come back holding hands and then he kisses you!’ she ranted on as we found some seats next to the pitch.

‘I think you know what’s going on,’ I said, a small blush creeping onto my face.

‘Oh – mi – god,’ Emma gasped. I looked up to see the excitement and shock in her eyes.

‘YOU’RE GOING OUT WITH HIM!’ she shrieked, making other spectators and most of the team look at us. I waved at Ethan, who waved back before getting back to the game.

‘This is amazing!’ Emma yelled, somewhat quieter than before.

‘WE CAN DOUBLE DATE!’ she squealed and I laughed.

‘I knew that was coming at some point,’ I giggled, my eyes never leaving the figure that was Ethan on the pitch.

By the end of the match my throat and hands were sore from how much cheering and applauding I’d done. Ethan did really well, scoring ¾ of the teams points and helping them win 48 – 7.

After the match Ethan changed and came up behind me whilst I was talking to Emma, snaking his arms around my waist. I spun around in his arms and put my arms around his neck, standing on tiptoe to whisper ‘You were amazing,’ in his ear.

‘Only because I knew you were watching,’ he whispered back before kissing me again and walking off to his parents.
