Hey Kiera.' My mom greeted me with a warm smile.
'Hey mom.'
'So did you have fun?'
'Yeah, a lot actu-'
'Oh my God what happened to your knee?' My mom interrupted me,again, with a loud voice.
'Jesus mum! You scared the living shit out of me. I just fell on the ground, it's not a big deal.'
'Then why does it look like something died in there?'
'Oh com'on! You're overeating-' I turn to my knee
'Holy shit! Why does it look like that? Is it supposed to look like that? Oh my God, and it smells bad too! What's happening, did Ellie and Adam notice it?'
'Who's Adam?'
'Seriously mom? Who's Adam? Really? I'm having a panic attack over here because my freaking knee is falling apart and all you can thing of is «Who's Adam»?' I spaz at her.
'Ok first of all you need to calm down and be careful with your language, second of all I'm sure your knee is going to be fine, your dad will see it when he comes home tomorrow.' She says as she smiles to me
'Dad is coming tomorrow?! I thought he was coming next week.'
'Yeah something changed with his scedual-'
'You know what? I don't want to know the reason im just glad he is coming back' I say smiling from ear to ear.
'And by the way we should probably get going, we've been outside of Ellie's house for over 5' she'll think we're stalking her or something. '
My mom laughed 'Yeah you're right, lets go before they call the police.'
When we got home it was 9:30 and I was more than exhausted to even put something on my hurt knee, so I just rush to my cozy bed. I can't believe my dad is coming tomorrow after all these weeks. Dad is the chief of the the general hospital of New York City, as I mentioned earlier, therefore he was staying there most of the time while we lived in California. So we couldn't just get into the car, drive and be there before dinner. The trip included an aeroplane and about 5 and half hours to get where he was. Call me a daddy's girl but I don't care I miss my dad more than anything.
Tomorrow we'll be a great day. I thought to my self as I closed my eyes, slowly falling asleep.

I woke up in pain, covered with sweat from head to toe. I try to move the sheets away from me but I failed so I tried to get up from bed, failing again. I didn't know the reason I was in so much pain and that scared me, I couldn't even tell what time it was and my phone was on my desk to the other side of my room, which is stupid because how was I supposed to turn off the godaimn alarm in the morning?
I couldn't think clearly, everything was dark and blurry.
Scream! Scream! The voice in my head said. Of course I couldn't reach my phone but hell right I could scream!
'Mom! Moooooooom!' I started screaming on top of my lungs and after about a minute I saw light coming from my mom's bedroom. Bingo.
'Kiera what's going on?' I heard Nora yelling from the next room.
'Come quickly it hurts!!' I say feeling not capablle enough to say another word.
Mom and Nora rushed into my room as everything became even more blurry and the room became darker.
'Quickly the sheets!' I hear my mom yelling to Nora as I felt a weight released from my body, obviously Nora had obeyed my mother and pulled away the sheets that were covering my legs.
'What the heck is that?' I hear Nora scream. Wait, what the heck is what? I question my self as I force my eyes to slightly open and see something that appeared to be a really swollen knee while a yellow liquid was coming out of it. By now, the lights were on and I assume my mom was the one to turn them on, because Nora was freaking out by the sight in front of her.
'Wh-what time is it?' I say feeling weak.
'Kiera baby, you need to relax ok? Nora call 911' My mom answered, as her voice was getting lower and lower every second.
Suddenly everything went black.
