Skyler woke up to the shrilled beeping of his alarm clock, groaning slightly as he rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. He groggily got up out of his bed to change out of his boxers and into some real clothing. He searched around his dresser for a fresh pair of blue jeans. Once he had found the right clothing (a tan t-shirt and some jeans), Skyler had discovered another freckle appearing on his arm.
Skyler gave a frustrated sigh, he seemed to have a set of of freckles every day. At this point, his arms looked like stars along the sky, metaphorically speaking. Suddenly, he felt like he forgot something. Listening to the pitter-patter of the rain against the window and the loud booming of the thunder, he realized it was probably his jacket.
His violet orbs darted around the room and he felt as if he searched to no end, but alas, he couldn't find his light blue jacket. Suddenly, his door creaked open, showing his little brother Jeremy. Jeremy was holding Skyler's jacket, which was stained with mud and soaked to the core with rainwater.
"Jeremy, what did you do to my jacket?!" Skyler screamed in angry frustration, practically pulling at his own sandy blonde hair. "I might've accidentally dropped it in the rain while I was taking out the trash... whoopsie," Jeremy smiled sheepishly, exposing the gap where his two front teeth should be.
"How did you even get it in the first place?!?!?!" Skyler snatched the jacket and was huffing at the child. "I said I was sorry, cut me some slack!!" Jeremy glared at him with his greenish-blue orbs and huffed right back at him. There was a tensed silence between the two before Jeremy stomped out of the room.
So there Skyler stood, frustrated, angry, and late for school. Wait, LATE FOR SCHOOL?! "SHIT-!" He huffed as he ran out of the house into the downpour outside. When he had arrived, he was chilled to the bone, re-entering the dry atmosphere. He sneezed and was about to walk over to his class, before vomiting on the ground below him. "Well of coarse I catch a cold on test day!", He thought miserably to himself as he stepped out of the school into his mom's car, sneezing rapidly.
