The Day I Found Out

I was just walking around the fair with my best friend Declan when it happened. "Hey Declan, I have a question for you?" I asked him anxiously, not wanting to really know the answer but needing to know the answer. "Ask away." He smiles as I look away then back to him. "Do you like me, like, like like me?" I ask him as I turn red and look away. He blushes a little then looks to me. "Si." He says as I look towards him. "Is that a yes?" I ask as he immediately covers my mouth. "Hush Camryn, I don't want my sister knowing!!" He said as we walked up to a fun house called Disco Fever. I nod quickly and melt a little. 'Did he just say that he liked me?!' I think as we go through the mirror maze together. I silently ask him once we finish "Do you mean that you actually, like, have a crush on me?". "Yes! Now hush!!" He says as we approach his friends, Mike, Mitchell, and John. "Is that your girlfriend?" John asks asks I blush. "Yes, her name is Camryn, and you can't have her." Declan says as he hugs me. I'm still red in the face as we enter the bumper cars.
