CHAPTER ELEVEN: FRAGILE HEART

BRIONY'S POV
I was about to get up early today for I have to pack up my things. Arghh may sarili na namang utak tong katawan ko. Ayaw kumilos. Hang over I think, from last night. Not because of the alcoholic drinks but the thoughts that make me drown. Yeah right, I was thinking about Aizens word s. He likes me?! Oh! That man is a total insane .
I'm kinda affected and a lil curious about it . Tsk. Di ako sanay. Though I've experienced it before how to be liked , to be loved and vice versa. But I don't live in the past anymore. No. Not again. I've closed my idea and I build my wall. No trespassing. But this feeling. Sumasabay sta sa mabilis na paglipas ng oras. Feeling jko nangangarera din tong flow of emotions ng mga tao ngayon. And it was untrustworthy.  Shit! I've gotta learn again how to deal with it. If it's a gamble baka itaya ko pati pato. But if lose , my heart be like a mistletoe!
Napabalikwas ako ng magring ang phone ko. Agad ko itong inabot na nakalagay malapitnsa head board ng higaan ko. Who's this arrrgh istorbo!

"Hello. Briony's speaking."

Napapikit pa ako habang nakalagay sa tenga ang telepono ko. Kaya Hindi ko nakita ang caller I.d. I told you tinatamad nga ako di na. Hahaha

["Hello. Good morning. It's me...hmmm Aizen?!"]

"Aizen who? Teka?! Just what??! How did u know my number?"

["Oh sorry. Candice gave me. Actually I'd asked for it last night. By the way, you okay now? Do you have hang over or something..."]

"Hahaha . Aizen your asking as if you are my dad. I'm okay. Don't mind me I'm alive,still.  Tas. That Candice girl talaga. "

["Sorry, bri .hahaha.  Last night kasi ah I think  you've passed your drinking limit. But never mind. Do you  remember who drove you home? "]

" Don't tell me ikaw?! Ikaw naghatid sakin"
Napaface palm ako dun ah. So daddy saw him bringing me home drunk. Paktay.

["Yeah. Ako nga. Coz the love birds are busy and as you know they've pushed me doing it . And as far as I'm concerned to you, I do the honor Miss Cortrez."]

" Aww. Nagkaisa na naman pala sila. Anyways, okay lang naman. Thank you na rin sayo ha. Siguro you can drop by at the cafe later. Libre kita ng kape for last nights concerned. Hahaha"

["Sure. Di ko tatanggihan yan. Hahaha. Pano Miss Cortez?! See u later?"]

"Yeah. Sure. Thanks again Mr. Thomas Train! Pffft"

["What?? Thomas Train?? Pambata. Hahaha. Get up stand up kiddo. "]

He chukkles over the line  its pretty cool to hear. Alien talaga to. Baliw lang.

" hahaha. Ai ai sir! Bye. "

And I ended na call baka magreact pa si Thomas Train pfft.
I did took a big urged to wake my sleeping system. So hard,man. Hahaha. I'm sober now but I can't see some brighter light. Shitness I need to be alive! Hello briony get up now!
Oh yeah after 100 years I'm alive and kicking! I drive myself deretso sa kitchen. I saw my adorable dad. He smiles at me as if something I don't know happened.

"What's with that unusual smile dear old man?"

I kissed on his cheeks. And sits beside him. Took my coffee cup and sip a lil.

"Good morning dear princess of mine. How's your sleep?
You passed out last night, do you?"

"Morning dad. I'm okay now. Medyo tinatamad  but I'm sober now. I'm good to go."

"Okay  good to know. And the man, I mean Mr. Thomas . Kilala mo pala sya nak?"

Napatingala ako sa kanya coz at the  moment I am chewing some baconator hahaha.

"Ah. Yeah Aizen is my friend and one of my regular guest in the cafe,dad. You know him also Dadddy?"
And I continued eating what's on my plate. I took a glance on him as he flip the newspaper he is reading.

"Yes . You know business men are always connected somehow. Apo sya ni Mr. Austin Thomas. Owner and Chairman of AUSTIN THOMAS GROUP OF COMP."

"For real? Kaya pala kilala din sya ni Haydee. And sya din yung Isa sa mga major sponsors ng Little Angels. Okay! Now I know mayaman pala to si tren e."

"Well, I guess you're close. Di na masama noh nak. Hahaha"

"Hala si daddy o. Intrigero ka tatay ah. No. Wag ganun. Psssh!"

Napairap ako sa aking ama. Na ikinatawa nya pa lalo. Kulit ng tatay ko e noh?! Gusto na atang magka apo. Joke!! Pasaway na tanders. Alam ko mga NASA isip neto e. Kulang na lang sabihin nyan "push mo yan te!". Pffft. Wrong thinking ata. Ang gay! Hahaha. Well, its a good start after all . Next stop is on my coffee cup sanctuary. Les go sago!
