Makayla's Pov
After our kiss I get sleepy and Matthew picks me up and carries me to his room and lays me down next to him. He takes off his shirt and my my breath hitches. He notices that I am not breathing and smirks. He scoots towards me and wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me closer to him. He rests his head on mine and I soon fall into the best sleep I have ever been through.
*the next day*
I wake up to see Matthew staring and me. His arms are still around me and he still isn't wearing a shirt. Oh, moon goddess this boy is too hot. Literally. I'm like on fire. I try to move out of his grasp but that seems to make him tighten. I try pushing him away but that doesn't help so I trace around his abs and he loosens his grip on me. I take that to my advantage and spring off of him and into my room. I take a cold shower since my body is so warm and begin to untangle this thing I call hair. After it is reasonably good I change into black lacy shorts and a white see through T-shirt with a black bra. As soon as I am ready to leave the bathroom horrible pain spikes through me and I feel like I am on fire. I mind link Matthew and he soon is next to me. He picks me up bridal style and takes me to the pack doctor.  As soon as the doctor comes in Matthew pulls me into his lap and growls 'mine'.
"It's ok, Mattie I'm yours I'm yours." I say and it calms him down.
After a long boring talk about my symptoms it was finally discovered that I'm starting my heat. Yay! Not. Heat is the worst thing female wolves experience except childbirth. When we enter in our heat we will want our mate. And not just that. All the unmates wolves will try to mate with me which is disgusting. If my mate isn't near me the heat will get worse causing both of us to experience horrible pain. It's kind of like having all your periods for a lifetime in one week.
I look at Matthew and I can tell he is having a fight with his wolf. I touch his face and he calms down.
