"See ya later bro, thanks for the stash," Devon says as he skates away.
I shake my head, "no problem, D, see you on Monday," I laugh the roll home myself.
"Mom, I'm home!" I yell as I walk through the door. "I'm gonna be up in my room, okay?" I need a smoke.
"Okay, well dinner's almost ready so don't get too comfy!" She yells back at me. Thank god she's cooking, or else she'd probably make me sit and have conversation with her. As I make my way up to my room, I swing my backpack in front of me and open it, looking for the good stuff. As I find it, I enter my room and pull out my trusty gravity bong. If dinners gonna be ready soon, might as well make it quick.
With my gravity bong, I easily go through two joints and I'm starting to feel super stoned now.
"Stark, it's dinner time, honey!" I hear my mom yelling for me. I'm not going down, I've been smoking! She's gonna notice it, too, what with the smell and my eyes.
"I'm not feeling well, mom! You can eat without me," I tell back at her. Hopefully she won't come to see what's wrong, because that'd mean my cover might be blown.
"Stark, we have visitors! At least come to say hi!" Okay, fine. I guess I'll say hi for a minute then go back to my room. I put my bong away and yell, "fine I'll be down in a minute!" I look around my room, trying to find something to wear that doesn't smell like weed. After searching for a few minutes, I find a MCR shirt and some black skinny jeans. "I'm on my way down!" I shout for reassurance as I run down the stairs in a hurry.
"Honey, these are the Parshen's. Elena here goes to school with you, I think you guys are in the same grade. I even think they live next door!" They do? Oh I'm gonna have fun with this.
"Oh, hey Elena, Mr. and Mrs. Parshen. Yeah, I've seen you around school, you're really popular," I awkwardly try to find what to say.
Elena gives me a really confused look, "really? I've never seen you around..." she looks so cute when she's confused. I cough to cover up my laugh.
"We're in biology together," I look down to hide my blushing. "And geometry... and culinary..." I look up to see that she's blushing just as much as I am.
"Elena!" Mr. Parshen started, " you have three different classes with this young man and you haven't even realized it?" I couldn't tell whether or not he was messing around, but it was funny either way.
"Yeah, Elena," her mom joins in, " plus, since you live next to each other, you probably ride the same bus home every day!" Now she looks truly embarrassed that her daughter hasn't payed attention.
"Actually," I cut in, "I don't ride the bus home." After I notice their confused stare, I explain, "I skateboard home. I go to the park with my friends and we skate around then go home," I finish, looking at my mom for support.
She nods her head, "yeah, they've been doing it since 6th grade. It's a way for them to stay in touch because sometimes they don't have any classes together," she looks at me and smiles.
"Well... while I'd love to just chat all night, I'm hungry! Let's eat!" I say excitedly as I lead them into the dining area.
We eat while our parents talk and get a little drunk. "Honey, how about you and Elena go up to your room for a little bit? Well call you when they need to leave." My eyes widen but I oblige.
I don't say anything as I go up to my room, looking at Elena every once in awhile. "Sorry it's a mess," I say while I open the door for her, "I wasn't exactly expecting visitors..." I trail off, hoping she'll say something.
"It's fine, my rooms not the cleanest either," she looks for a place to sit, I try not to snicker because I know that's probably a lie.
"So do you... do you umm... have you ever smoked?" I kind of edge around the topic so I don't scare her or anything.
"You mean, like cigarettes?" She laughs, it's so adorable; it sounds like tinkling bells, "no, those are really gross. They smell really bad and make you look gross," she finishes with a little nod.
"Well I wasn't talking about cigarettes," I say, pulling my weed out of my closet slowly. I watch her reaction, trying to
decide whether it's a good idea or not.
She seems to be thinking really hard about what to say. She takes a deep breath and bites her lip, which, by the way, is so hot. Then she says, "well, I've never done it before. I'm fine with you doing it but don't expect me to." She finally says.
"Okay," I pull out my pipe and set everything up. "Feel free to join in whenever though," I look up at her and smirk, noticing that she's biting her lip as she watches me intently.
I take my first hit when she asks, "what do you get out of it?" I honestly had to think about that for a minute.
"I don't know how to describe it, you're gonna have to try it yourself," I say as I lay on my bed. When I look up at her, her jaw is dropped.
"I have a few more questions, first," she replies, sitting on my computer chair. "Can you get addicted to it?" I shake my head, "where do you get it, and how often?"
"Can't answer that, baby girl," I shake my head.
"How long does the high last, and what are the side effects?" She nods her head to show me that those were her last questions.
"Gosh, I feel like this is an interrogation!" I smirk jokingly, "the high can last pretty long, but you lose perspective of time." I watch as she tries to figure that paradox out, "and the side effects are what's known as getting 'stoned,' which means that your eyes are glassy, you want to eat a lot, and you don't give a fuck about what other people say," I give her a 'there you go look' and make a gesture towards my pipe. "Fuck yeah!" I yell as she reluctantly walks towards me.
"One time, okay?" She shakes her head, "and nobody will ever know," I nod my head and put my thumbs up.
"Let's get this party started!" I smirk as she takes her first ever hit. "This'll be one hell of a ride, baby girl," I say under my breath while she laughs at the smoke coming from her pretty little mouth.
