Description:

Nights, nights were just another nightmare. These shadows, what was up with these shadows? They're taking up space everywhere. It's getting hard to breath, It's suffocating. My dream world has become so over filled with them that's the reason they've ventured into my so called reality. They're following me to and fro, but these shadows aren't just normal shadows. These shadows don't follow your movement or stay in the shape of the items around you. While near them you hear voices, Not just random voices but voices from hell.

The shadows call my name, and repeat "the one, the one, the one", over and over again. I don't know what they want, but there is no way I am the one they're looking for.

Chapter 1: Shadow Seekers

When I finally open up my eyes from the ignorant cove of my eyelids, the only thing I can see is shadows. Surrounding me, but not in my bed like where I was last, but now I was deep inside a mysterious grave yard. The mist-like shadows had begun encircling two headstones in particular.

I creep towards the cleared area surrounding the blocks of stone. Why were "they" dragging me towards these particular grave stones. I lean in getting a better look.

It reads: R.I.P. ____ Ifer, on the first one. The beginning of the name has some sort of markings scratched through it. I looked closer and saw a mixture of up side down crosses scattered so impacted together it was impossible to even get a single letter out.

I turned my head slightly and noticed the other one was in just as bad condition as the first, except this one had a weird marking I have never seen before. I extend my head forward to check out the stone more thoroughly. This headstone read: R.I.P. ____Men.

I don't know why I'm here, or what this has to do with me. "Why, why am I here?" I shout, with a echo-ing effect off of the shadows. They begin to squeeze even closer to my trembling body. My hands are shaking so bad I loose support and drop from my crouched position onto my knees. Somehow in the process loosing balance and tumbling to the ground.

As I'm struggling to get back up, my face comes up close and personal with both of the headstones. I feel power, coldness, and evil radiating off of the very surface inches from my face. Suddenly my whole body freezes, all signs of shaking disappeared.

At the very bottom of Ifer and Men's resting place I notice something that hadn't crossed my eyesight before. I snap out of my unmoving figure and inch my head closer and closer to the words.

"Damned to hell," I begin to shake uncontrollably and jumping back almost a mile. The shadows retreating at my sudden movement. I started to shout, scream, even cry, why was I brought here? To this... this horrendous place.

"WHY ME! WHY HERE! WHYYY!" I scream to the shadow filled sky. When they chant, "The one. The one. The one." All the control I had keeping my mind in check just cracked. My arms fling in every direction, whacking away every shadow in sight.

In desperation to find a way out of this deathly dream I scramble up off my feet and curse, because that's all I hadn't done so far. I had said every word in the book before probably a minute had gone by. My very last attempt to freedom  backfired quickly as I was being cornered once again. The shadows seemed to have grown, at least doubled in size.

Desperation already dropped and fear was starting to set in. "Oh my god!" I whisper into my trembling muddy hands covering my face. But seconds later all went silent, I spread my fingers apart in hope my terrifying dream world was coming to an end. But no, instead it was just beginning.

I open my eyes to see the grave stones glowing a dark gloomy gold. Was that a good thing? I wondered but was almost immediately answered as the ground started rocking back and forth so fast I could barley keep up. "What in hell?" I grumbled looking around me frightened. Right after the word 'hell' left my mouth the shaking completely stopped and all was silent.

The rocks were now glowing an evil menacing bright red. There was a force pulling me towards it. Unintentionally my arms stretched out in front of me as still as a board. My eyes widened in shock as I had began moving towards this glowing death trap. I used all my power to back away but nothing could break the force it held on me.

My fingers brimmed the edge of the stone, and then my palm pressed over the strange markings I had seen earlier. The instant I came in contact with the upside down crosses, my eyes rolled into the back of my head.

All I could hope for was darkness, but instead came a flash of light. Darkness had disappeared and a vision had begun.

The flashes were over in an instant, and all went dark at last.
