You Are Mine [Hijack/Frostcup]

Chapter 31: Yes

At first, I couldn't believe it. But the words slipped right out of my mouth like I've been waiting to say them my whole life.
"Yes!" I basically squealed as Jack slid the ring on my ring finger and stood back up to give be a huge hug.

Jack was more than just an "imaginary friend" to others. He was my real fiancé. The guy who've I've been through so much with. The guy that was once invisible, but is now completely seen. The guy that saved my life.. From someone I thought was my friend.

I had my arms wrapped around Jack as tears sprung into my eyes. I was so happy, jeez I'm an emotional wreck. I heard all the claps and congratulations in the background but for a mere second, everything went silent and all I heard was Jack whisper "I love you" and the noise was back.

I hugged him tighter, squeezing him. I didn't want to let go. No, not now. He was back.. I missed him so much.. I love him. "I love you too Jack" was all I said before I started breaking down in tears of joy.

Jack eventually pulled away as he used his thumb to wipe away the tears streaming down my cheeks. "What's wrong Hic?" Jack asked a bit worriedly. "I'm just so happy!" And in the moment I said that, I forgot anyone was there and I kissed him. I felt like everyone else just disappeared as Jack played with the ring on my finger slightly as he kissed me back.

When the kiss was gone and my eyes were open, some of the people had left. I knew this was a welcome back party.. But I honestly just wanted to spend it with Jack.

"Dad, may I speak to you for a moment?" I told my father. I wasn't sure if he was happy.. Or mad about the proposal, I could never tell with him. My dad and I walked into the 'kitchen' I suppose as he said "What is it son?"
"I know this is a welcome back party.. Bit honestly I just want to spend tonight.. In my own bed and not some hospitals." I said as Stoick nodded and quickly walked back into the room and announced that the party was over because I needed some "private time" or whatever.

Everyone left until it was only me and Jack. My dad had left too, he had some meetings to intend to so he wouldn't be home til later tonight. I wasn't sure he was aware that Jack was spending the night but.. Well he was. Of course.

Jack and I walked up the stairs, tonight Jack was surprisingly quiet. But from the look on his face, I could tell he was the happiest person ever. That filled me up with even more joy. We entered my, or I might as well say our, room as I went and sat on the bed.

Jack soon walked over to me and sat down right on my lap. "You've been quiet tonight love..." I said as I looked into his Icy blue eyes as my hands were naturally on his waist already.

"Hiccup I'm just so.. Speechless with happiness. You said yes.. And you're alive." He ran his cold hand in my hair as he smiled at me. "Thanks to you." I smiled as I leaned in and laid a soft warm kiss on his pink lips.

Jack kissed me back but this kiss seemed different then the others. It seemed more alive and passionate. With a warm fuzzy feeling. Jack pulled away from the kiss "I.. I asked your fathers permission before I proposed. He said it was okay but I could tell you were worried he wasn't happy about it" Jack looked at me with a hand on my chest and his other hand in my hair. Usually it would be the other way around, but since we are the same height now and I have a bit more muscle, Jack seems to prefer to be on my lap now.

I didn't want to think about anything so me and Jack looked at eachother for a second before we both leaned in as our lips crashed against each other's.
