Andor's POV
It had been a couple of days since we'd been on our journey and this girl was making me want to explode. Everytime I looked her way she made my heart skip a beat. She's like the beacon in the fog. My savior.
This particular morning Avery had woken us both up to go catch some fish. Kyky was so bubbly and cute then. It melted my heart. I followed close behind the two best friends. A lot was on my mind. The silence in my brain was overwhelming and the girls didn't seem to notice the pain behind my eyes. Everything hurts in this fucked up world. But then I thought I shouldn't even be here now so I might as well enjoy it.
Kyky's POV
I was talking to Avery in a hush voice whilst Andor walked behind in his own little world. "He makes my chest flutter. Avery he's the love of my life! I'm sure of it!" I whisper shout. "That's so great." She exclaims while looking behind us at Andor. "I could see it in the way he looks at you Kylie. He needs you girl." She said. I wasn't sure what made me fall so hard for him. But it was fates choice. And I knew it wasn't a mistake. I loved that boy, with all my heart and it was true. I smiled at Avery and continued walking.
Once we were done fishing Avery told us to go back to our tent while she went to look for berries. It was awkward being alone with him but I didn't mind. He began cooking fish on the fire, and it was about noon and I hadn't had breakfast so I was starving. "Thanks for making food Andor!" I said smiling. He grinned back at me and told me it was no problem.
After the fish were done cooking, he set them to cool and looked at me. I looked back at him and felt the feeling again. The same one I felt on the dock. Love. He leaned in and before I knew it. He crashed his lips into mine. Short and sweet. He stopped and looked at me seriously. "Kylie, when I was at the dock a couple days ago, and you showed up..." He grabs both my hands, "I was going to jump off that dock. But you came and saved me. And I knew from the moment I saw you that I was in love." He said. My heart dropped.
