All she remembered was passing out on the fields. Only small bits of things appeared in her mind. Even the small bits seemed like impossible puzzles, that she needed to solve. Though she remembered passing out, it was a pretty pathetic thing for her. If you would wake up, and all you would remember was passing out, well, it could really piss someone off. She woke up on a small hut. She was lying down on a bed so small, her feet extended about 4 inches further. She doesn't even remember being tall. Frustrating! A small window was placed near the door to her right. She tried to look outside, but, she can only make out small things, like the sun. Her eyes were still fuzzy.
"Let's take a peek," she muttered to herself. She stood up, only to feel like lying down again. Her legs felt like jelly, and she felt very dizzy. As much as she wanted to lie down, she also wanted to get out. She opened the door, and a cold blast of air met her. Her tattered shirt and seared skirt, didn't really help warm her up.
She looked around. Small huts, kind of like the one she was in just a couple minutes ago, formed an O in the middle of what seemed to be a plaza. The sight of other people wearing fur coats and leggings made her feel naked. She seemed to be the only one wearing such clothes.
"Hey," some stranger walked over. He wore a salmon-colored fur vest and leather straps that acted as leggings, which paired with his brown sandals. Viola couldn't really make out his face, but she could see that he had a mohawk thing going on there. "You look," he paused, as if thinking of what to say, "cold," he finished.
"Obviously," Viola rolled her eyes.
"Hey, it's just an observation," he said, holding out his hand, "Name's Terrence,".
Viola really wasn't sure if she wanted to meet a guy that looked like a gladiator, but meh, that's life for you. You'll never know what you'll get.
Viola held his hand to Terrence's, "Viola," She said.
"Let's get you some clothes," he said. Ok, he was too kind, Viola was starting to think there might be some twist to this, like being murdered afterwards. But, she didn't want to take down his offer, who knows? He might be her next... She's too embarrassed to talk about it. Hesitantly, she followed.

They reached a (surprise, surprise) small hut. It had a long rack that had an assortment of apparel hanged on it. On the counter, there were several baskets, each containing clothes, skirts, pants, and what not. Back in the old days, clothing was very expensive. It took months to make one. Finally, after a long bargain, they managed to get one coat. Obviously, for Viola.
They walked over to a bench near the hut.
"Say," he said, "who are your parents?,"
Ok. That's weird. She doesn't remember her parents! Never saw that one coming.
"Uh," she said, "I, don't remember," Viola looked down. She couldn't even remember her parents. Maybe, she didn't remember because she didn't have parents. But then how was she made if... Never Mind. Point being, she couldn't remember anything.
"Say what now?," Terrence asked, "Seriously-" He raised an eyebrow. "Is that?"
At first, Viola thought this man must be crazy, but then, she saw a necklace dangling on her neck. It looked like a bronze bow with a human arrow nocked into it.
"You're from," He paused, "Best you not know,"
"Where?," Viola demanded. Terrence looked away.
"It's just," he frowned "You're necklace. That's from Ciranne," he said.
"So?," Viola gave Terrence a spit it out look.
"It was, kind of destroyed a couple months ago," Terrence said.
"Destroyed?," Viola wished she didn't ask that question. The first thing she finds out about after waking up, was her hometown destroyed.
"Yeah," Terrence said. "By the Hestians, but, a war is going on between them, and another faction. Another woman from Ciranne was seen there,"
Viola suddenly became happy. What if, that woman knew her? What if, she was her mom? Or her sister?
"We have to find her," Viola said.
Terrence gave her a puzzled look, "We?,"
"You gave me the info, you're involved." Viola said, already standing up.
"Uh, no," Terrence said,
Viola glared at him, which instantly made him agree.
"Where do we start?," asked Terrence.
"Where was the last place the Hesti people attacked?," Viola asked.
"Hestians," Terrence corrected.
"Whatever. So where?,"
"Last I heard, they attacked Sharnwick," Terrence said.
"Then we go there,"
"Fine," Terrence agreed.
