•Cason's POV•

We head back inside after Callie's parents took off.

Much to Alec's annoyance.

I don't really know why he wanted me to stay away from Callie, I would have thought he'd be a supportive brother.

But no, he has to be that guy.

I'm surprised his friend isn't with him, I think his name was Todd, since he always is anyway.

As though Callie read my mind, and I was sure that didn't go through mind-link, she asks Alec the same thing, "Where's Todd?"

Alec shrugs, "Don't know."

Was he always in such a sour mood?

Callie lets out a small sigh, as though she's over talking to him.

It makes me frustrated at him for being such an arrogant little-

"Cason!" Callie snaps her finger in front of my face.

Geez it's like she really is reading my mind today.

"What?" I ask.

She rolls her eyes, but I see the amusement on her face, "I asked if you're hungry?"

I shake my head, "It's okay, I ate at the house."

She nods before moving to the living room, where I hadn't noticed Alec had gone.

She sits on the couch and I sit next to her, Alec gives us a look from the other couch before going back to the TV.

"So what does the note say?" I ask.

She opens it and scans it quickly before shrugging, "Just instructions."

Alec sighs before turning off the TV, "How about we all go for a run?" He asks.

I see Callie nod, "Sure, sounds good." She looks at me, "Up for it?"

I nod and stand up too.

"Trent's coming too," Alec says, "He wants me to meet him at the pack house before, how about you mind-link Abby and Cason and I will meet you guys after?"

'I want to talk to you.' Alec says to me through mind-link.

I give him a nod, telling him I understood.

Callie looks to me, "If Cason wants to?"

"Sure, we'll meet you there." I say.

She gives me an 'are you sure' look, I give her a reassuring smile.

"Okay," She says, turning back to Alec, "Abby said she's up for it. Mind-link me when you're coming."

She gives me a smile before going out.

"Lets go." Alec says to me.

We walk out of the house, "We're running." He says.

I guess that's not an option then.

I nod and we go behind trees to change and then we shift. We give each other a once over, his wolf is pure black, like mine, but he has small white patches on his front paws.

My wolf might even be a little bigger than his.

Bet he just loves that.

He starts to run and I follow after him, speeding through trees and jumping over rocks and logs.

We're obviously close to the pack house, I can smell it. We shift again and chuck our clothes back on.

We walk the short way to the house.
